    So you spend hours getting the best gear for your characters, doing all the optional objectives, and leveling them up. But, after you beat the game and do the veterancy missions you cant use those gears on a new campaign. I think this is a missed opportunity for those who want to try the game on a harder difficultly without having to do all that work all over again. Like it makes me not want to replay it in general, not even the Jacked replay.

    UPDATE: POPULAR OPINION**😅

    But, running through Gears 5 campaign again and i am not a fan of the open world aspect. I'm not a open world gamer so makes sense but one of the things I loved about gears campaigns was it's go go go vibe. Now it's "find this" back to skiff, find that back to skiff. Just not a fan. But opinions are like assholes, we all got em!

    Customizable Cog Gear

    Who else thinks TC should make a COG character, named "The GEAR". The idea is that players get a near-silent character to alter to their heart's content; change gender, change armor (including helmets), select heads and hair styles, and change your color. "The GEAR" would be usable in Versus, Horde, and Escape.

    And with the 'Gears Coins' store system, they could allow you to unlock more armor, as you would start with basic Cog Gear armor and an optional helmet. They could easily monetize this with Chrome Steel armor, ESports armor, etc.

    TC have the asset from Gears Tactics, don't really see whats stopping them, unless it's a limitation on the engine Gears 5 uses.

    But "The GEAR" would be the greatest Gears of War character ever made.

    Trying to do medals for my Tour thingy, but I cannot find any way to play gridiron?? I have to do touchdowns etc and when I go into game modes I can't find it anywhere. What do I do?

    Operations 5 brought me back 110%

    Everything I wanted in gears 5 came in full force and although I wish we had these options at the start it's ok. This feels like a gears game to me multiplayer wise and that's enough for me I hope everyone is having a blast. If anyone wants to do some horde or the new escape mode my gamer tag is "D3V1LMAN84"

    Who's Everyone's Favorite Carmine?

    After getting back into Gears 5 I can't help but be reminded of my deep love for the Carmine family and all those misfortunate enough to be born into it. I figured it'd be fun to just ask who everyone has as their favorite member of our loveable band of cannon fodder, since each one is actually fairly unique in the context of Gears. Let's do a quick recap in case you've forgotten the greatest heroes of The COG.

    Anthony - Basically a joke character, but is surprisingly endearing given how little character he has in Gears 1. He should've taken Clayton's advice and practiced reloading, it's just good to know he died a hero's death.

    Benjamin - Easily the most endearing Carmine, he was almost like Delta's little brother, with everyone looking out for the rookie, though Dom did spit some straight fire at him. Tragic death for our best sniper boy, and his starry-eyed attitude towards Marcus is kind of adorable.

    Clayton - Might actually be immortal, survived a sniper shot to the head, a lambent leviathan, being attacked by Tempest and Myrrah, and is still kicking grub ass in his old age. He even bantered with Baird during his prime in Gears 3, a feat only accomplished by Delta, Kilo, and Sam.

    Gary - Poor bastard only had a couple of lines of dialogue before being smashed by some DeeBee drop pods, but he didn't serve in The COG so he doesn't count. In all seriousness, I never got attached to Gary because you wouldn't even know he was a Carmine if Oscar didn't yell it out.

    Lizzie - The newest, and unfortunately most recently deceased, member of the Carmine family. She has all the bravado of Clayton, and is frankly the only other Carmine besides him who isn't blatantly incompetent as a soldier.

    Honestly you can't go wrong picking any Carmine as your favorite (except Gary), they're as much of a staple of the franchise as Marcus and The Locust are. My choice is a tossup between Anthony just for how comedic his death is played in the series, and Clayton for how much of an absolute BAMF he is. Who would you pick as your favorite?

    Exactly how difficult is Inconceivable?

    I've played Gears since the original, and I solo Insane'd the trilogy, which apparently isn't an easy feat. But looking at the steam achievements, it has 0% listed for beating campaign on Inconceivable. Either this is the hardest game ever made, or this is glitched
