    Wave 50 bitter failure checking in.

    No restarts is cheap and bullshit. But besides that, unlike the other modifiers, it isn't even a difficulty modifier. It's a punishment. For fuck's sake, even escape sends ya back to a checkpoint if you make it far enough in the game.

    This punishment's inclusion goes totally against what has made horde a joy to play for over ten years. Horde is about the grind. It's you and your squad stubbornly trying to get past that pesky wave that's been giving you trouble at 3 in the morning. It's about going back to the drawing board. It's about countless failed waves taunting you over and over again. It's about rebuilding your base. It's about LEARNING FROM YOUR MISTAKES. It's about the cheer and celebration when you FINALLY fucking get to that next wave.

    Anyway, rant over. Other than that, horde seems to be in a pretty good place these days since the updates.

    Let us change weapon skins by faction or characters

    It would be awesome to have like a "master" skin for all characters, but have the option to change the skins of the weapons depending of the character, because I have skins that looks really well in some characters and very bad on others and it's kinda frustrating that when you faction change the aesthetics get ruined D:

    Gear of War 3 DLC Issues

    Hi guys, I've been having an issue with the Gears 3 DLC. Namely, it doesn't show up in the game. All the DLC is downloaded (Map packs, RAAM's Shadow, and some various skins) and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it multiple times. Even resetting the Xbox won't work. The only thing that shows up is the skins. No multiplayer maps or DLC campaign. Under the campaign section of the menu it still shows up as "coming soon" instead of giving me the RAAM's Shadow option. Has anyone else dealt with this or have a solution? Thanks in advance for the help.

    Let's talk about maps

    I've been playing canals and blood drive now for longer than many people have even been born I can't take it anymore.

    Seriously, is there a reason they can't/don't bring back other gears maps that aren't played out? I.e. mansion, old bones, river, thrashball, nowhere, mosoleum, ruins, all fathers garden, fuel station, etc.

    Is it just me or does the voting map rotation get stuck in a loop of ONLY Bunker, District, and Training Grounds? If I quit a game and join a new lobby I'll have a chance of playing on a different map, but as soon as the match ends and voting starts, 2 out of 3 of the map choices are almost always 2 of these maps. Then after that match the loop solidifies itself of pretty much only those 3 maps showing in voting. This happens nearly every fucking time. Often 1 map will show up twice but with different modes which is even worse.

    Am I forced to play custom just so I can experience some different fucking maps? How bad is that design? I took a long break from this game and after about a week back have stared broken map rotation in the face enough times to know this isn't bad luck and it's genuinely off putting. Why is proper map rotation so seemingly difficult here? This has killed my desire to play any matchmaking and I've only been back for just one week. Support for this game has always been slow but come on...
