    Too dark, too small, and no vocals. I know people are going to just say I'm missing shots, but I only feel like Terminator characters are eating shots, or they somehow de-magnetize my bullets. No coincidence when I see a stack of Terminators on a team. /rant

    Now swarm characters appear on the title screen. It's not just the image like I thought it was. Hope TC doesnt fix this.

    Am I the only one that wants to see J.D. with a Marcus durag on. Especially scarred J.D. I think that would look badass. Someone should photo shop that, or do some concept art.

    Not complaining about microtransactions and all that bullshit. I just wanna play without all the glitches, sever issues, and I'd also like more maps.

    Christmas? Early next year? Can this game survive that long?

    Gears 5 horde

    I've just played horde on Gears 5 and it's not fun. Dont get me wrong it's the most fun game mode in Gears 5 aside from the campaign, but that's not saying a lot.

    Perks fucked the team play because you can just up yourself and pass waves without building defences. This basically made defences pointless because they burn up so quick that it's just pointless to keep on building shit when I could just get the same boost to my survivability by getting personal upgrades. It fucks the team over but the point is that there's no incentive to help the team if I could survive just as well by increasing my personal stats.

    The locked characters is the WORST IDEA for a horde mode ever. There's a lot of reasons nobody liked GOW Judgements take on horde, and the fact that you can't just choose your loadout and character was something that made the game mode annoying to play.

    The fact that certain defences are locked to characters (like how you cant build barriers as Jack or a weapons locker as JD) makes the gameplay more reliant on teamplay, but it also means that if your teammates aren't smart you're fucked. In Gears 3 and 4 the teamplay aspect came from the amount of power (or money in the case of Gears 3) and damage that inherently comes with fighting as a team.

    The fact that only 2 characters are able to upgrade defences only further incentivizes other players to horde power and spend it on perks. Having to rely on other people to scale up the power of your defences makes it less likely that you'll get farther in the waves because you have to have a competent engineer. If you don't have an engineer that's constantly upgrading the infrastructure, you basically just pissed away all the power you put into the fabricator.

    Gears 4 had a good idea of being able to manufacture weapons from the fabricator, so of course they took it out here. Restricting weapons access is just not fun when it comes to PvE because it gives people less flexibility in their playstyles.

    Playing as Jack is a slow painful death, it would've been cool if he had more combat support as opposed to just being like the maid. It's nice being revived 3000 times when your team dies on a later wave and it's nice to be healed, but aside from the Hijack ultimate, the rest is pretty monotonous. Your zapper does like no damage when you get past wave 10 so you cant really kill stuff. It's cool being able to Hijack but it takes ages to come back.

    Get to choose a different "tag mark" for the locust & COG sides.

    It's just a detail but I'd love being able to pick different marks for both sides.

    Exemple:

    Use the Terminator Tag for when I play locust

    Use the Phenix tag for when I play the COG

    The mark would automatically change based on the side I'm in.

    Not asking for a big ass rework of the game but still I'd love to see it happen.

    Do i really have to start matchmaking before I select my character /skin?

    Golden Gun kept forcing me to play Anya, because I couldn't select my character before hand.

    Had to join a ranked game, change, take the penalty during matchmaking just to change my character.

    Next season, can we please get a "default load out", this goes for grenade choice as well.

    A small change in Gears 5 that could have a good impact

    Can we get a different menu backdrop and better menu music? If the music was more akin to a Steve Jablonsky or Kevin Riepl style, It would really bring that Gears feel back. The Composers for 1 and 2, + the flames burning in the backdrop, man was that shit ever mesmerizing. I used to boot up those games, turn up the volume and leave them running, just so I could listen to it for a while. In Gears 5, we're stuck with the most hackneyed tune that sounds like i'm playing pubg mobile. And a backdrop of Icebound? WHY ICEBOUND, imo it's the worst map in the game. Anyways that's just my two cents. I currently have the menu music switched off, and I throw on my metal playlist on spotify instead. Sometimes I even put on "Hope Runs Deep" just to get me in my feelins. That song will get you lubricated for a glorious Gnasher spree. Brings me back to the good ol days. Let me know what you guys think in the comments! would you wanna see a return of the old menu tracks and a change of the backdrop? do you think it would tug some heartstrings for us old Gears fans and help bring some interest back to the game? I know this game is plagued with issues, but there is plenty of other threads for shedding light on that, and you have the free will to make your own posts about that stuff, so please, lets stick with discussion on menu design. Thanks!

    So i recently bought the brand new Kait winter amor controller, I take good care of it, And have had it for two weeks. When playing Gears 5, holding down A, sometimes i suddenly stop running, walk, do a roll, then run again. basically im saying that at times i stop running, is this happening to anyone else?

    So I was recently getting back into GOW after the release of 5, and mid way through I decided to replay the series, and I've decided that I want a tattoo of Dom and Marcus, or just something with the two of them and "Brothers To The End" within it, anyone have ideas?     Auto deposit to forge

    I understand the need for the ability to horde energy on your character but it is not helpful to not have an option to deposit automatically when playing with friends. It's difficult to play your role if everyone has to constantly remember to deposit energy for the engineer or the ai holds onto it forever and it never gets used.
