Apparently this was done "because it makes Keegans ultimate not very useful for ammo in horde" [link] [comments] | ||

| Fan made Gears of War novel update Posted: 10 Mar 2021 07:39 PM PST It's been a long 6 months of planning and writing, so I guess it's time to reveal the plot. The story takes place 2 months after the Hammer of Dawn strikes and follows protagonists, Ethan Androsan and Amie Assean. Amie is trying to get over the death of her mother (which happened 2 months ago) while Ethan accidentally finds out about the locust's plan that could change the tides of the locust war. | We’re at a point in Gears 5 where I don’t feel like unlocking things anymore. Posted: 10 Mar 2021 09:40 AM PST Right now the game has obviously been put into life support mode. The only major new content that will be added is maps and skins, which are being dripfed at a snail's pace. It's been confirmed the game is no longer receiving new modes, new PvE classes, or new weapons. It feels kinda pointless to unlock stuff if there's not a lot of new content to look forward to and I'm immensely doubtful that TC would make a system to transfer cosmetics into the next game like Overwatch 2 or PSO2 is doing. I'm really not looking forward to having to unlock the same lab coat Baird a third time in Gears 6 and all this new stuff that's coming out a second time. Anyone else feel the same or is it just me?
