Posted: 13 Sep 2020 03:49 PM PDT So, Ive played all the gears up to 5, and the one I had the most experience on was 3. From the short time I played 4 I noticed they did the same thing and made the point of a loadout useless. Even though 90% of my Gears 3 online experience was offline against bots(I got it when it dropped, played it all through middle school into high school and even went back and played it a year ago and found some matches with full population on Xbone) I still enjoyed the option to spice it up and each gun felt like it had a purpose. Lancer for midrange, Retro for short range, Hammerburst for longish ranges. Hell I actually liked the Sawed Off shotgun cause I could get lucky and kill 3 or 4 bots at once in KOTH. Im still kinda pissed they removed the zoom on the HB and the cool iron sight display, yet iirc in 3 it was slower and I think 4 made it burst fire? Or was it burst fire in 3? Anyways, I just wanted to know how come the only option we can choose for our loadout is what kind of grenade we want :( I assume its cause of "muh esports" and "muh balance" but the ability to choose a more niche rifle to go at your enemy in a different way was nice, and its sad to see it be removed and O doubt whenever G6 comes out it'll still be the same :( [link] [comments] | ||
