• Haven’t touched a controller in 4 years and finally got back on gears. Hit all these singles in one month.

• Mainly a console player, but thanks to my sister’s gaming laptop, I get to play Gears Tactics!
• ToD 4 complete!! Not too much of grind this time around, the medals are very forgiving
• Some of the skins available on 8/1! Goat Mace, Lancer GL, Claw, Hammerburst, Enforcer, Markza, Boomshot, Dropshot and Overkill! (10 AM CT – 8 PM CT)
• Missing Katana skins from stream...
• 5 stacks should only be matched with 4+ stacks.
• Anyone else love doing this?

• I could've put this in bug/glitch but this is so sad it's hilarious!
• for the love of god tc please fix the fucking quitter/afk issue. as you can see we were cruising through this match up until these 2 fucks decided to go afk for the rest of the match which ultimately made us lose the match. its infuriating af & makes rank unplayable

Reimagining Gears versus mode and maps Posted: 31 Jul 2020 11:09 PM PDT Q: Why don't maps change environment randomly (time of day, weather etc...) Opinion: I would love to get into a map and seeing that there is fog or snow to add a curve ball to the match for both teams to adapt to. Also, changing the time of day and lighting conditions randomly. I feel it would make the world feel more alive and keep the game fresh. I also think unreal engine would handle those tasks well based on my limited research admittedly. I've been playing since gears 2 and I know there is no other game even slightly similar to gears. I'm extremely grateful that the series continues, however I also feel like it needs to advance and innovate to stay healthy. Kraken as a boss fight in Horde Posted: 31 Jul 2020 08:48 PM PDT it would be really cool that TC makes a map for pvp and pve, but the new map in horde has the Kraken as a boss fight, it would spice things up in horde it might be harder to kill cause you got infantry to worry about, but it would be really fun tho, i hope it happens for op 6 or later. Gears 4 has more skins but Gears 5 is about to overtake the number of unique charatcers Posted: 31 Jul 2020 10:43 AM PDT Was just curious about comparing the number of characters from Gears 5 to Gears 4. Gears 4 seems to have over 170 skins overall but looking at the number of unique characters (as Gears 5 has organized its skins) Gears 5 is well on its way to overtaking Gears 4 by the next Operation. That's pretty impressive, actually. Not even a year in even if some of our favourite variants are still missing. I may have missed a couple but right now Gears 4 is sitting at 40 unique characters and Gears 5 is sitting at 37. However, obviously Gears 4 has much more skins per character. but, again, it had 3 years to build up such a high count. Anyway here's the list. Let me know if I've missed out! Gears of War animated series Posted: 31 Jul 2020 04:51 AM PDT Was watching Love Death + Robots and made me think how perfect a Gears of War Anthology series would be. You could tell One-Shot stories spanning everything from the pendulum wars to the current swarm war.
