    Gears 5 thinks 4k tv resolution is 1707 x 960?

    I have an LG C9 trying to play it in 120fps 1440 mode, but it thinks the native resolution of the tv is 1707 x 960?

    I can change the resolution scale to what I want, but this keeps the tv locked to 60fps ?

    Lancer Chainsaw/bayonet Problems

    I've noticed this more and more while playing recently (And idk if this is a pc only thing) but I will use my lancer chainsaw/bayonet and if I'm shot or interrupted my character reloads. sometimes even trying to rev up the lancer my guy will just reload instead. Its gotten me killed a lot and also gotten me lots of kills as I've seen it happen to other people. I think the basic melee needs to be removed while holding the lancer and the rev key/button needs to be switched off of the reload. Or it wouldn't be a problem if u could reload at will. Either way I've come to find out that the chainsaw can be very useful except when it forces u to reload mid battle and maybe jam your gun and cause you to die.

    The game took a month off to fix the games issues to make it good. We as a community accepted this so that this turn around will help save the game.

    That was definitely not the case.

    The constant bugs from op 2 and 1 still exist with many other new ones. This is hilarious.

    What's worse is OP 3 launched with launch level gameplay tuning.

    Every OP we get excited but it just brings issues on top of issues that make it hard to enjoy the good Tc have done.

    The game is in a better place and his fun again. The new TOD is nice. I like the gears 5 battle pass and store (doesn't have anything worth.m buying most of the time and that's a good thing)

    Gears is gears and no other game matches the satisfaction a kill gears can give but this game can be so much better but Tc is always busy fixing shit that shouldn't be there in the first place.

    Weekly Developer Stream Today!

    Where to Watch:

    When:

    • Starts at ~3pm PST
    • Lasts for ~1.5-2 hours

    Be sure to check for a stickied comment below. If anything changes in regards to day/time, we'll be sure to have that info in the stickied comment!

    Who:

    • Most weeks, Dana (u/tc-mjrdecision) and Liam (u/OctusTC) host
    • Occasionally Ryan (u/n0dezero) or some other developer
    • Andius (Community Team) works behind the scenes to run the stream/chat

    What:

    • The community team discusses any recent news and follows up with a Q/A session
    • Some streams have raffles or "click-to-claim" style prizes available!

    Submitting Questions!

    Currently TC looks at 2 main places for questions: The Chat and General community discussion. In attempt to gather some better questions that TC may be able to better prepare answers for, we are going to look at collecting some questions in this thread.

    Also note that this is not a thread that is officially supported by TC. We cannot guarantee that they'll see and/or use this. But we figure it's worth a shot. If nothing else, maybe someone else in the thread will be able to answer your questions!
