    Does anyone else have this problem? It's annoying.

    Losing one person is vital to the game. Takes an engaging and competitive match and makes it pointless and not fun.

    I also see a high number of players who are AFK.

    Why does this happen so often?

    Is anyone else getting that bug in Gears 5 where you try to join a horde match with 4/5 people and it says there's not enough room for you "party" to join even though it's just you?

    Please add more Gears 4 ported maps

    A lot of excellent maps are in Gears 4, and some of them are even remasters of classic maps.

    For example, what about Avalanche? A really good map and would be a nice homage to Gears 2 to add back in. It doesn't take nearly as much effort to bring a map already made into the new game compared to an all new map, surely?

    Right now the variety just feels very limited.

    Blood Drive and Rustlung would be cool too.

    Anyone else agree the microtransactions in Gears 5 are predatory?

    Personally think some of the microtransactions predatory, for example, the most popular character in the game currently Baird you're forced to play horde, this goes against the versus and competitive players who don't watch to touch horde while they know he's an extremely popular character, along with this, they've featured 2 variants of classic baird, a very popular character in the store because the gilded one can pretty much only be achieved through playing horde (to achieve dailies) and they need iron to skip those ones and the other would require a ridiculous amount of versus to achieve.

    I've played Gears 1-3. One of my friends is letting me borrow his Xbox atm. I'm going to beat the rest of the campaigns but I'm just curious which multiplayer game I play in the meantime.

    Gears 5 unplayable with mouse (XB1)

    Trying to use my gaming mouse on Xbox One's Gears 5. It's complete trash. They have it set where the view will trying to keep going back to center, making mouse aim completely impractical. Why even support the mouse if you're gonna do that? Easiest fix in the world too. DISABLE auto view centering. DONE. It's that hard!

    What is the playerbase like in Gears Of War 5?

    I haven't played GoW5 since October. I just can't play the game, I don't find this game enjoyable. I was curious how many still play? Do the lobbies feel bigger and alive? Or the opposite? I know i'm definitely not the only one. I know some people who are diehard GoW5 fans also have their gripes with the game.

    What was your hardest Horde map to master?

    Vasgar took me 5 attempts on Master. Those damn guardians would always turn up 48/49 and go to town on us, regardless of turrets.

    As Baird I usually have the map scattered with level 2 barriers, which cause untold damage,

    We finally completed it having a Kestrel on the last wave. I accidentally summoned my db on lvl 49 so it came close. We owe a lot to the Jack who knew where to hide.

    We left JD in the middle of the stairs while Kait and Marcus covered the right. I hid on the left and cleaned up with an embar. When the time was right i moved to the back of the map distracting the Kestrel enough for Kait and JD to finish up.

    So what was your hardest and how did you overcome the map?

    Game Pass Question

    I never played gears of war and have the game pass. I looked it up and it said the ultimate edition has 1,2,3, and judgement. So do I just have to download this and 4 and. 5 or is ultimate edition different?

    Gears - Contra Style

    I was messing around with a cheat program in Gears 5 earlier and enabled infinite ammo and no reloads. Now, I get the reload mechanic is a part of the Gears universe, but this was fun with the lancer. There's still recoil so just pray and spray isn't ideal. It gave me a taste of what Contra mechanics in the Gears world would feel like and it felt good.

    Edit: Solo campaign. I don't condone cheating in multi, but do whatever you want in your single player stuff
