    Honestly I love this skin so much as much as TC still needs to learn from this mistake we do have to think this is one badass skin

    Certain guns stop working on active reload

    Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but it's happened to us for weeks. Actives for embar, overkill, enforcer, and some others will usually make the gun not fire or allow ADS. Remains until you reload again or drop the gun and pick it back up.

    Is it worth getting Gears 5 if I loved Gears 2-4 and Judgment?

    I think Gears 1 is ok, but in order to get the co-op achievements, I will have to play it multiple times.

    Gears 2 is great, Gears 3 is great, and I play Gears 4 a lot (mostly for the missions and credit grinding and hopefully fun Horde games with other people if they're willing to help me).

    I've enjoyed their campaigns, so I'm sure the campaign is good and has co-op and splitscreen. Multiplayer I hear is no longer the old shotgun fest, but as long as I can play against bots and level up with them, it should be fine for me (and has splitscreen). I hope Horde is still fun (and has splitscreen). I hope Escape mode is good (and has splitscreen).

    Gears of War: Ultimate Edition performance is absolutely terrible on my PC

    I run at 1920 x 1080 resolution and have a GPU with 8 GB VRAM (the "ultra" texture setting requires 4 GB). Gears 5 consistently stays at above 60fps in the campaign with the ultra texture pack, maxed out for the most part. Ultimate Edition fails to even maintain 30fps, dropping to around 25fps on the first outdoor area (I run UE at the highest preset with motion blur disabled).

    I haven't really tried the other texture quality settings since toggling requires restarting the game and it seems highly likely that the game is borked beyond belief at least on my system.

    Digital Foundry has covered the 1.7 version:

    an overclocked i7 5820K/GTX 970 combo simply isn't enough to deliver a completely stable 60fps at 1080p, let alone 1440p and higher.
