    I've never really played any of the Gears of War games, but I've been playing Gears 5 on and off for achievements and Microsoft rewards takes and whatnot, and man it just stands out how natural Kate and Del feel as characters. I'm at the ice valley area and their interactions are really believable. The dialogue and way they deliver their lines is great. Kudos to their voice actors for actually feeling like they care about their roles. That's all. That's the post. Thank you.

    Disclaimer: I'm not even going to touch on the subject of people w 100 re-ups are placed against people w no reups at all! or players who were Ranked Master get pit against Bronze/Silver/Gold!

    When it comes to matchmaking, things are really frustrating.

    The most annoying would be to endure a match playing in a team of 3 players against a team of 5.

    I play the first round and hope in Round#2 things will get balanced?

    No, the same.

    This needs to be hot-fixed.

    Even games as old as Battelfield 1, from 2016, has auto team balancing, even on private servers.

    I don't understand how something as basic as this cannot be implemented in a game like Gears 5 or why hasn't it yet.

    And the same old excuse of 'small player base' is just not true here, because even if there were 4 players only, auto-balancing would place 2 players per team.

    Trolls and comments about this being whining aren't welcome. If you don't like what you read, keep scrolling. I deal w enough toxicity ingame already.

    Why do I keep getting matches against people who used to be master on ranked?

    I used to be between diamond 1 and onyx 3 and I was fine with that, but the new ranked system has gotten me playing against 4 players together and at the end they usually show a masters flag. I didn't win a single game today and my teammates weren't helping me either. Is the new ranked system broken? Or is it just me that now that everyone can play with full teams on ranked are spanking my ass.

    Its definitely helpful to donate often as you can and you should be if there is a builder, but I also understand that 1 point into a perk can be helpful to some classes. Like the damage resistance perk usually start at 10% thats a good point, I think its the same for movement speed, 1st point is 10%. Ammo regeneration always helps out with the team sharing box ammo at start. The blademaster, well maybe 3 perks then donate, they work weird without bleed and regeneration lol.

    Don't let people discourage you from donating at the beginning of a match with a kick (if its in their rules then yeah) there's alot of people still stuck in old meta ways, lot of things are viable now, be active, not stupid, and work with your team and the beginning will be okay if you buy a perk or two to help your class help your team. I never understood the builder getting angry for losing a few thousand, they usually accept it and adapt to it because you will be donating at a point anyways (I hope so) and by end game they have plenty. Not all builders just look for tributes.

    Easter egg weapons on every map?

    We all see the weapons under the maps. Some maps have different weapons... I remember a post on here talking about shooting ice until a weapon appeared and it got me thinking if maybe there are ways to get these weapons? I think they maybe more than a visual bug...

    Have you guys seen unreal engine 5? Gears of War 6 is going to be incredible.

    I got excited and concerned at the same time when I say the new engine. Excited because we are going to see games that look absolutely amazing but concerned about the waiting times.

    We might not see a new Gears game until 2024 (I think). Needles to say, it will look absolutely incredible. I hope that Epic works with the developers or gives good advice.

    how do i get the ranked gun skins

    can i still get the bronze silver and gold weapons' skins and if so what point threshold or placement do i need to get or can i not get them anymore just want to know if i should grind for the gold lancer for gears 5 btw
