    I have only played gears of war 1 and 2, and I remember in gears of war 2, I had to cut my way out of a giant worm. While it made me look at the realism of the series in a whole different way, it was a fun diversion from the run of the mill eroded and abandoned buildings that preceded it. Were there any levels of the later games that stand out to you as a similar deviation or were notable in their design?

    Gears 5 Ranked cheaters

    Recently played ranked TDM and had 2 cheaters on the same team using aimbots. It was the first time I have seen a cheater in Gears before so was wondering if its common and I have just been lucky?

    What new weapons would you like to see in Gears of War 6?

    So Gears of War 6 is a long way from now which is fine by me because this means we get another whole year of Gears of War 5 content.

    Some time ago I mentioned that I would like all known Gears of War weapons to make a return to Gears of War 6 and trust me when I say that I stick by my comment. I want the Vulcan, Mortar, OneShot, Booshka. I want every known and introduced weapon to make a return and stay permanently in the Gears of War 6 weapon sandbox but I would also like to see some new weapons be introduced too.

    Let me just emphasize that I am a PvE player above all else. I rarely touch PvP so I wouldn't know how balanced, redundant, or overpowered these weapons would be. All I know is that they would be super fun in Horde and Escape. If these new weapons would come at a later date in PvP due to figuring out balance issues. I don't think the PvP players would mind waiting a little bit extra just so that everything is well balanced and set up properly.

    Anyways let me get to the point.

    Wishlist for old weapons: Link:

    New Weapons

    • Bullpup Lancer with a Masterkey Shotgun attachment: A new variant of the Lancer GL but this one comes with an under-barrel shotgun and a repositioned magazine location. Perfect for CQC and it would be a joy to see another new Lancer variant.

    • Handheld LMG with ammo belt: You would hold it like Arnold holds the M60 in the Commando movie and you keep firing whilst slowly adjusting the ammo belt.

    • DB Digger launcher: Modern adaptation of the iconic Locust Digger launcher. Instead of firing live munitions, it fires drill drones with an explosive tip. Fans will rejoice and the Dropshot will have competition.

    • Remote IED: An improvised explosive that can be set and remotely detonated with a detonator. Perfect for setting traps or fallback locations in case you get overrun.

    • COG RPG: A modern rocket launcher. Can pretty much destroy a huge cluster of enemies including Scions but it requires a teammate to help in loading another rocket and it will take a while to regenerate all of the used ammunition in the weapon locker. A perfect balance and a perfect teamwork weapon.

    • Lancer SAW: An oversized Lancer with a drum magazine and a bipod that can be deployed over cover giving exceptional firing control. The player will hold it via a handle upfront when attempting to fire on the move.

    • Mini explosive flail: Gears 6 could use more melee weapons and if the Boom Shield makes a return how awesome would it be to have a scaled-down human version of the Maulers flail? You could swing it across or swing it down causing an explosion. Besides melee based classes like the Blademaster could really use more weapons.

    • Machete: Another weapon that could go well with a Boom Shield. You could become the COG's or UIR's version of a modern knight slashing and blocking.

    • Electric Power Fists: A pair of power fists that cause shock damage when punching enemies. It can cause extreme blunt damage to enemies and besides it would be quite badass and funny to see someone running towards you with a pair of power fists. I think it would be scarier than someone with a breaker mace running towards you. On top of that, it could work well with some character's personalities, especially those who like to use their fists to clear the way.

    • Venom Grenade: Modern adaptation of the Ink Grenade. It works the same way as an Ink Grenade does except it releases a cloud of Venom. Some might ask what's the point when we have Shock Grenades. Well, shock grenades are lame and they only affect a certain tile or floor. These Venom grenades would release a green toxic cloud that would be a joy to witness

    That's all I have when it comes to my ideas. Let me know what you think and what kind of new weapons would you personally want to see make it in Gears of War 6?

    Gears 5 gives you hit detection whenever the fuck it feels like it.

    Pretty sick of this

    Pretty sick of having the lowest ping in the lobby, yet people are ALWAYS able to get their follow up shotgun shots off before me, even though we started shooting at the same time and I buffer my shot. Also sick of having the lowest ping in the lobby but still being downed after being multiple steps around a corner from an enemy. And when I say lowest ping, I mean like single digit ping. The server/netcode issues need to be fixed STILL. Don't worry though guys, there're gonna pump out new skins for you to spend your money on *eye roll*
