It was an interesting bit of cross over writing, since I wrote the comic first and the DLC after. I wrote the sequel to an origin story before I had written the origin story in the DLC. PS: Seeing all the amazing fan support and love with the DLC release this week has been a real highlight of 2020 for me. Thank you for giving these characters a shot. I've really grown to love them. | Classic Horde needs the boomshield. Posted: 18 Dec 2020 05:38 PM PST Part of what makes OG horde so good is actually being able to hunker down, place a couple shields, and hold down the fort. I feel like that's the missing piece, the special sauce to Classic Horde. It doesn't even need to be a boomshield, we just need a piece of prop-able cover. Also, it'd be cool if Drones could pick up the weapons scions drop, in horde and campaign! [link] [comments] | ||

These games looks so nice it even rivals many games that came just recently. The visuals and crisp, framerates are constant and it definitely is a technical marvel. Optimization is one thing many companies ignore unfortunately and majority of time PC gamers are always receiving very bad console ports. Keep up the good work devs this is top notch quality and shows it's made by a very talented team of people. Thanks once again, hope TC will always strive for high quality in all it's future entries. | Why current Gears games need to be “scary” Posted: 18 Dec 2020 04:45 PM PST It makes Gears unique and special - Gears 1 is well known for being an action game set in a bleak world with moments of suspense. Horror elements help sell the world itself. It makes everything feel even more hopeless. Gears 1 really felt like you wouldn't be safe at night almost anywhere on the planet. Remember the feeling you got during the first cutscene with the Boomers and the cutscene with the Berserker? Even Wretches were "scary". There were so many moments where they would pop out and almost always in areas with not much space to run around in. They even had like a jump scare sound effect! Gears 2 managed to keep the suspense going with the Sires at the New Hope facility. But no other Gears games hold a candle to the dread felt in Gears 1. The Swarm are perfect for being scary - The Locust were a terrifying enemy but they were mostly an unstoppable army that was seemingly everywhere. The suspense of waiting for them to cut through a door or emerge from an E-Hole after the ground has been shaking like crazy is a lot of fun. The Swarm don't have the same numbers or the same apocalyptic presence on Sera. They are still growing and they are more of an unknown. Jinn didn't even believe they were real at first. Compare that to the Locust where they wiped out most of humanity in the day they showed up.

He's loyal to the CGO, his lines are cool and I love his moustache. (Also he's voiced by the same actor that does Escanor here in Latin America). Now, for the DLC, it's obvious Keegan feels guilty about being stationed at Azura throughout the Locust War and he also feels like he let down Brooks. My question for the people that main Mac or Lahni: Is the campaign "different" enough to play it three times? I wanna see each Hivebuster's fears. [link] [comments] | ||
