- Why does every cog soldier have the same helmet, armor, voice actor, and skin tone in gears of war 3. I remember in the other ones they had different helmet types at least and some had different voices. Did epic just get lazy with the third one or did the cog have low budgets for armor?

| Changing the name to "Gears" is wrong. Posted: 23 Sep 2020 09:50 AM PDT I don't care if it's to avoid confusion with God of War or because "of War" is somehow offensive or no longer on brand. This series is "Gears of War" and that's the end of it. I know there are big gameplay issues and changes in 5 and The Coalition's games in general, but changing the name of the series really feels like one of the more egregious things they've done. Some people provide the logic that Gears of War has always been shortened to "Gears" by fans. That's not true, but also it doesn't matter. People shorten Call of Duty to COD. That doesn't mean it's okay to rename the series after a fish. The implication of the series name have always been that war is a machine, and that individuals are just gears in that machine. It's a simple metaphor, but it worked. Yes I'm mad. It feels like a complete disregard for what makes a series special to just randomly rename it halfway through your trilogy. It doesn't make any sense and comes across like what it is: the marketing move of an inexperienced developer that doesn't really care about the IP they're making. [link] [comments] | ||

Submitting Questions!Currently TC looks at 2 main places for questions: The Chat and General community discussion. In attempt to gather some better questions that TC may be able to better prepare answers for, we are going to look at collecting some questions in this thread. Also note that this is not a thread that is officially supported by TC. We cannot guarantee that they'll see and/or use this. But we figure it's worth a shot. I've mostly run the trishot with SB but am trying a go with the mulcher and don't want to get smoked in master difficulty. Which card works better for the SB?
