    I just picked up gears 5 and it came with the download code for the terminator dark fate pack Sarah Connor and t-800. I redeemed it and all, and it still says to purchase it in the Microsoft store? Do I have to wait for gears 5 to download before it allows me to download this pack? It just says "$19.99" even when I redeemed the code?

    [Gears of War 2] Operation Hollow Storm was a terrible plan

    I was replaying Gears 2 yesterday and it had me wondering what the hell the COG was thinking launching their attack on the locust in the way they did. Massive vehicle assault over hostile country in broad daylight just to deliver a handful of soldiers into the heart of enemy territory. Massive losses in transit, massive losses during the drop, more losses in the hollow...

    Is there any gears media that ever goes into this operation in depth or explains what they were thinking? It seems suicidal and very wasteful of their limited resources.

    Anybody have any takes on it?

    Gears of war theory: ink grenades are baby nemacysts

    Let me explain. We see a little creature attached to all of the ink grenades. I have come to believe that those creatures are actually nemacyst baby's because there the only creatures other than seeders that produce ink. And the ink grenade is a device that causes the nemacyst to explode and release all of its ink and the reason we don't see ink grenades in gow 4 and 5 is because all the nemacysts are crystalized.

    Gridiron - stopping touchdowns

    Right now, the only way to stop an active touchdown is to down or kill the flag carrier. I kinda feel like this makes it overly difficult on the defender - your only real option most of the time is to fly at the flag carrier and hope for a chunk. It's s usually not gonna work if you try to cross them down in less than 5 seconds.

    My suggestion is that touchdowns are at least paused when a defending player steps into the endzone. That way, they don't have to go for a 1-tap chunk all the time. Similar to how contesting a hill works in koth. Thoughts?

    The only maps I've played since the launch of the new season is bunker, training grounds, icebound amd and district. 90% of the time these are the options... Kinda stupid.

    Gears of War 3 season pass is not working

    Recently I purchased the season pass of Gears of War 3. After it was installed, there were no prompts to download the DLCs included for free.

    I tried deleting and downloading the season pass again, and it still wouldn't work.

    Anyone knows how to fix this?
