    Just had 3 teammates all quit in the first round and lost so many GP because of it please tell me WHY there can't be some kind of GP forgiveness when your whole team quits.

    If you're reading this - Gears 5 is not your favorite game.

    Hell, not even your favorite of the franchise. Here's the thing - you've forgotten the one thing that has never failed to be included in a gears game.

    US.

    So even though I've gotten married and had two kids since Gears 3, now I still put on a headset and talk shit like I'm 13 while getting stomped or stomping while my wife giggles in the background listening to True Crime podcasts.

    The mechanics change, we change, the world changes too. But let's remember that whether we like the changes or not - we are still here playing together and it's funny as hell to blow up someone's body with a gnasher.

    Gears 5 - Microsoft Store Package Dependency Installer ERROR on launching (FIX)

    For anyone that may be need this i think i have found a possible solution/workaround!

    ​

    1. First on Regedit goto Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppModel\StateChange\PackageList\Microsoft.HalifaxBaseGame_1.1.243.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe

    and set PackageStatus to 0

    ​

    1. Then on Gears 5 launch icon settings (right click the icon -> more-> app settings) on "Reset" do the "Repair". (a few seconds)

    2. Before launching the game always TURN OFF/DISABLE your antivirus (I use Avast) . Malwarebytes is not causing a problem for me (The game boots fine with this being enabled)

    3. Launch the game as usual.

    I think that the anti-cheat engine of Gears 5 causes a conflict with antivirus and the game is unable to boot if you try to boot it the first time with the antivirus enabled and after that the status of package is in incorrect set.

    And I got to say it's freaking awesome. However, players getting themselves killed and then quitting is super annoying. So are the players that just try to sprint towards the exit

    Has there been anything said about bringing back the War Journal or just more in-depth stats like we had in past games? I know there is much more important things to address but would love for it to come back in the future. Always loved looking through it after a couple good long sessions to see the breakdown of everything. Now I just see things that pretty much mean nothing. Not to mention I believe the Score per min now with GP is broken or just not recorded.
