- I saw the top left image and thought it looked like a "G" but it seems unitentional since there's one with the other side of the logo, so I made my own logo which subtly includes the "of war" they're trying to stray from too. It's a freebie if any game devs are interested! Graphic design is dead :'(

Ugh i just want one totem plz I'll never ask for anything else. But I don't play gears for the customization it's just nice to feel rewarded for putting time into something. 4 was a great way to do lootboxes and micro transactions imo since you could scrap what you don't want at least. Who cares though let's move on Even though it's not my favorite multiplayer game of all time, I think it probably has my favorite 1v1s of any shooter game. The cover system and movement is unique and feels really good when you get it down. You really have to know how the A button works and master it too. It's not all about how you aim or reaction times at all. Of course those help a lot, but strategy and trying to get your opponent to make a mistake is the bread and butter. On every death I can usually point out the exact mistake I made and it's very rewarding to improve slowly and get better. Coming out of an intense 1v1 or even 1v2 on top is almost like getting high. Add the blood and gore and it's just lovely. There's just nothing better than gibbing the fuck out of someone. Other games can't give me this high man [link] [comments] | ||

I had a thought that making a game like Halo Wars in the style of Gears of War would be really cool. OH MY GOD The movement speed doesn't need to be slowed down. It feels horrible. Have you forgotten the lancer made maps and angels, with the 40 round mag and insane stopping power ??? I'm confident you guys don't know how to balance the game. Movement was great in Op 2, I don't mind OP 3 but it did stop me from playing the game a lot. I still play everyday but not for long. Leave the movement alone, no one asked for it to be slowed down. CMON GUYS ! You've lost so much confidence and trust from the community, this is not the way.
