    Ever since the last update the game has felt WAY more responsive to me, I'm not sure if maybe it's the fact I hadn't played in a few days then came back or what but it feels much better than before...

    This game would really benefit from ranked 1vs. If you think about it, nobody can complain about matchmaking, it'd have extremely low queue times, and it'd be a very easy mode to implement. You can basically just copy and paste the 2v2 maps (except annex, fuck annex) and boom, a solid ranked mode that truly shows how good your gnasher skills are.

    I've been playing through the entire series and as I have, I feel like I should've read some of the books because I'm always curious about what happened in between the games. For example, the 2 years between gears 2 and 3 after the COG sinked Jacinto, is there a book that explains this? Like how the COG were split between the ocean and Anvil Gate? Anything that takes place during the pendulum wars?
