    Weekly Developer Stream Today!

    Where to Watch:

    When:

    • Starts at ~3pm PST
    • Lasts for ~1.5-2 hours

    Be sure to check for a stickied comment below. If anything changes in regards to day/time, we'll be sure to have that info in the stickied comment!

    Who:

    • Most weeks, Dana (u/tc-mjrdecision) and Liam (u/OctusTC) host
    • Occasionally Ryan (u/n0dezero) or some other developer
    • Andius (Community Team) works behind the scenes to run the stream/chat

    What:

    • The community team discusses any recent news and follows up with a Q/A session
    • Some streams have raffles or "click-to-claim" style prizes available!

    Submitting Questions!

    Currently TC looks at 2 main places for questions: The Chat and General community discussion. In attempt to gather some better questions that TC may be able to better prepare answers for, we are going to look at collecting some questions in this thread.

    Also note that this is not a thread that is officially supported by TC. We cannot guarantee that they'll see and/or use this. But we figure it's worth a shot. If nothing else, maybe someone else in the thread will be able to answer your questions!

    Once again, I'm a wee bit curios if anybody has seen or witnessed if the skiff locker has been fixed ? Weapons disappear from skiff when playing a main mission. It's been months since I last tried it and it sure as hell didn't work then.

    Would really appreciate any responses !

    My idea for solving the quitter issue we're struggling with since Gears 4

    Let people join ranked matches in progress. I know what you're thinking, but bear with me - If you join a match in progress and take the place of a quitter, the outcome of that match doesn't affect your elo. Doesn't matter if you won or lost, you don't gain or lose any elo points, but if you joined in progress and won, you get x1.5 XP for winning that match.

    Thoughts?

    I'm in versus now and it says I'm on week 13 of 16. I thought it had only been extended to 14 weeks, was there a second extension I missed?

    Bring special events to custom horde and versus lobbies

    Honestly just think this is a good idea. Let the timed events just be to get the associated challenges, but i think adding these in would really make "custom" games feel customisable. Is this something that can be done?

    Why do issues from Gears 1 and 2 reappear in Gears 5 of all places? Ex: Vacuum chainsaw, 2 piece, sniper gnasher

    This is definitely not the way to evolve the combat. The mantle kick and overall cover combat is cool. But revving the chainsaw and it being basically silent sometimes? Bro come on. That's fair??

    Does anybody know the release date for the graphic novel "Hivebusters"?

    I've seen August, March, and April for what I assume is the comics under the same name, but one of them has to be the right date right? I've already preordered it but I wasn't for sure on the date.
