    EDIT: TC has confirmed that it won't be in the Store next week

    This is about the Gears 2 Curb Stomp being a Store item. When Gears 5 came out everyone was wondering where the curb stomp was and many people were even making jokes like it will be a store item.

    And now here we are and you are trying to sell us an execution that we have had since Gears 2. This should be in the free Supply Drops. What are you thinking? This is an obviously greedy move meant to take advantage of your fans. Did you really think that people wouldn't be upset?

    You guys seriously need some rules put in place to avoid enraging your customers even further.

    If it's something we had in a previous game, it goes straight to Supply Drops for FREE - Simple enough, if it's a piece of content that we used to have in a previous Gears game, it should be free in this game. Either put it in the Supply Drops or the Tour of Duty. Examples include Classic Kait, OG Curb Stomp, etc

    If it's a brand NEW piece of content, sell it in the Store - This doesn't include the characters or maps that are supposed to be free. This means character skins, weapon skins, executions, banners, etc

    Make sure Tour of Duty still gets some good stuff - This is a large portion of content that cannot be purchased and can be earned by anyone for free. Make sure it has some really cool stuff (CHARACTER SKINS) so we don't feel like the Store is the only place with cool stuff.

    Finally Completed The First Tour Of Duty, As A Gamer Without Sight

    Most of you will have probably seren my posts regarding how I play Gears as a gamer without sight (i.e. with no sight whatsoever). As of the time of this post, about 12 hours ago I finally finished my first Tour Of Duty in Gears 5 in arguably spectacular fashion given the game appeared to just outright crash instead of giving my rewards (just a dashboard crash rather than a full shutdown, thankfully).

    Most of my time has been spent in Horde, but I have played Escape and VS where needed with many helpful players willing to get me through objectives that otherwise, I couldn't have completed myself.

    It's a shame that, realistically, I now have no real reason to go back into the game until Operation 2 releases (other than logging in for the anniversary rewards). If stars transfered into iron, scrap and/or XP or counted towards the next tour, I would definitely keep playing. I do enjoy the game though so maybe a break for a little while might be a good idea anyway.

    Thanks to all the Gears who have assisted me on the way to this achievement. If any of you have any questions about my experiences with Gears 5's Tour Of Duty up to this point, feel free to let me know.

    So I was doodling Raam on some cardboard at work, and it got me thinking about how he’s left such a lasting impression on this franchise despite being dead for the majority of it. What is it about him? What did he have that other bosses didn’t? Why do we love this BAMF so much?

    People keep asking for various things which is great, it can get a bit repetitive and sometimes annoying but anyways...

    • Asking for say Onyx Guard, oh yeah you get it but they are a skin for the cog gear.

    • we want the gears 2-4 curb stomp! Okay but it's in the shop for iron.

    • We want more executions! Alrighty but a few of them are in the shop for iron, the rest are in ToD.

    • We want new characters and we want to earn them! Totems.

    I honestly think it's kinda hilarious, almost every vague request has been met with an almost monkey paw type reward.

    TC pulled the Gears 2 curb stomp from the What's Up store update for this week. Our voices have been heard. Let us continue to fight the good fight for those Carmines who have fallen before us (that deserve to be playable characters ASAP).
