    I've been playing Gears since 06... but today I played 6 hours of the worst possible horrible gameplay ever, thinking I would get better but no, I regressed immensely as the night went on.

    I mean missing all shots, missing melees, blowing myself up, shot the boom at wall, absolutely horrible.

    Remove the ability to shoot while Spawn Protection is active

    I understand why Spawn Protection is important and included in the game, but in it's current state it is promoting unhealthy plays and rushes

    The spawns are part of the problem. Having an enemy spawn right in front of your eyes when you're not even playing Guardian is horrifying, but even if the spawns in the game are changed the underlying issue remains; people use their spawn protection as an offensive tool.

    ​

    You spawn, you get your Gnasher out and you charge into the fight knowing full well you can safely get in the enemy's face without the risk of dying, all while being able to shoot and kill and the enemy having no idea when they can actually damage you, leading them to just shoot at you and evade until the ping sound stops

    I don't think spawn protection should be removed and I also think removing spawn protection when you fire your gun won't help, because you can still abuse it in the same way.

    I think players should not be able to shoot while they have spawn protection active.

    They can run, evade, switch weapons, wall bounce, whatever - they just can't take any offensive actions like shooting or melee. It would even be ideal if they are visibly not yet holding a weapon and the 'grab the gun of their back' animation plays when spawn protection wears off.

    I think this is a fair balance as both the newly spawned players and the players already alive know exactly where they stand. You can see that a player has protection and can act accordingly.

    After all, all Spawn Protection is supposed to do is prevent unfair deaths immediately after spawn, which in it's current state it actually promotes, it's just that the unfair deaths are not those that have respawned...

    What are your thoughts? Do you think this would help the situation or cause other issues?

    Any news on this? It's still being tracked and I missed out on the 'insane' mode challenge. Big Terminator fan so wanted all that stuff but just no time to get it done in those 2 weeks or so.

    For logging in on Halloween you get a Jack-O'-Lantern Marker, Halloween 2019 Bloodspray, and a Halloween 2019 Banner. They all have Pumpkins on them and the banner is AMAZING!

    • play 40 rounds versus (cog totem)
    • play 13 matches of pumpkinball
    • win 25 (or 15?) versus playing as cog
    • win 10 classic quickplay matches

    Hopefully this helps out anyone new working towards their tour of duty. I'm sure there's others that track aswell, but I have a few already completed.

    Can someone tell me why people host a game but never start it even with full lobby?

    If it happened once in a while I wouldn't be bothered but it seems to happen quite often. A lot of times people don't start the match and even when the whole lobby is full with no duplicate conflicts nor do they respond to chat.

    I am guessing these people are AFK but why start a match if you will be AFK. I don't get it.

    I am generally taking time out of things by delaying washing my clothes or prepping for making food for dinner later to play the game in turn doing a sub par job in those because I didn't prep just so I can play horde which requires hours to do so I cannot afford to waste too much time.

    I just want to know what is going on.

    I'm on PC and 99% of matches I entered, I've been kicked out of because of network errors. I've been very busy with school n work, now I've finally got a minute to play for the first time and this happens. Come on TC

    Vote to kick players from Horde should be added for custom.

    Some Jack player just joined my game and disabled all fortifications, removed all weapons from lockers, and moved the fabricator to the other side of the map and wouldn't let it go. I just want to be able to kick these kinds people without restarting and losing progress. That was the most ridiculous troll move I've experienced in this game wtf...
