| First time played Gears Of War. Posted: 16 Jul 2021 01:21 AM PDT First I played Gears 4 and then Gears Of War 1-3 and its so amazing now I will play Gears 5. I think this game is underrated. Gameplay, Story, Characters, Soundtrack, dialogues everything is great. There was plenty of awesome moments in this game. Carmine family members was patriots, all brothers were in war like real heroes. I don't know what to say about Dom, Cole Train, Marcus Fenix there is no words for them. Being Re-up 30, I have lost plenty of xp because the xp counter stops whenever you reach level 100 and the xp doesn't carry over to the next re-up. Furthermore, in order to re-up, I need to goto the main menu in order to hold down a button just to re-up. Time that could've been spend queuing up for the next game. Though perhaps the anticipation of holding down the button is quite suitable for some gamers; however one must acknowledge Gears is a game of action and therefore the Menu and UI must reflect it with a fast paced action by not being slower than an old man with a hip problem. Personally I have lost over 10,000 plus xp from this Abhorrently slow system. So I plead TC and the community to give attention to this problem. [link] [comments] | ||

| Am I the only one that doesn’t like Kait? Posted: 16 Jul 2021 03:59 AM PDT I haven't read a ton of reviews, and and am not on this sub too often. That being said I'm not sure about this. Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone else dislikes Kait. To me, I simply don't like her writing. She is clearly supposed to be going through a lot, but she acts as if nothing is happening. Minus a few moments where she screams and curses. That being said, I think if her dialogue was more uniquely written, I'd like her better. One line that annoys me is "This isn't about you, it's about ME!" While this line isn't too awful, I feel it portrays her as a selfish character. This isn't the case, but it truly doesn't make her look great if you ask me. Especially since it was one of the first lines we heard from her in 5 at the E3 reveal. Anyone else dislike her? | Why do some people keep saying TC should make a new IP? Posted: 15 Jul 2021 03:01 PM PDT I often see people say TC should make a new IP when they are discussing Xbox. This seems kind of ridiculous considering the studio was formed just for the Gears series. Not to mention they're literally named "The Coalition", you know, as in "The Coalition of Ordered Governments". It would be the same if 343 industries went and made some new, non-Halo FPS.
