Haven't yet tested this myself, but here's what CommanderCH2863 writes: Shoot 5 fish that are out of place, check the "fresh fish table", Kait will say something when completed Search 8 fish in the ice (random locations) Boots will unlock for one player on the table Can be done everywhere but Escalation. Gears 5 opens gaming services [work-around] Posted: 03 Apr 2021 12:23 PM PDT If anyone else is having issues with Gears immediately opening up Gaming services in the Microsoft store instead of the game, I found a work-around. Other threads seem to just say re-install but the method I did doesn't require you to do so, I figured I should make a quick post about it for future use. **Steps** Open windows settings (press windows button on keyboard and then on-screen press the cog wheel above the power icon) Go to the 'Apps' section Select Gears 5 form the list of apps Click the 'advance options' under the game title First try the 'Repair' option and try opening the game just to see if that works (this function most likely won't solve the issue but doesn't hurt to test) Then select 'Reset' and 'yes' to the prompt that follows Once you finish step 6, go to the Microsoft store and re-install gears to the same drive it is installed on. It won't re-install the whole thing, just reconnect the game files to gaming services. That fixed it for me hope this helps anyone out there who's having the same issue and can't find a fix guide. submitted by /u/Newtonius235 [link] [comments]
