    I feel like Gears of War deserves more attention from Microsoft and Xbox. Gears should be "as advertised and important as Halo"

    I know HOW important Halo is, but I always feel like Microsoft/Xbox only mentions Halo most of the time, while Gears always had great games (fanboyism and nostalgia aside), and amazing visuals.

    And specially now that Halo Infinite failed to be released with Xbox series, Gears took up the mantle, released patches for the new gen, and it made the game look even more impressive.

    Sure, Gears has issues, but I wish microsoft and xbox gave it more recognition and power. Hopefully it won't be long until we get a gears 6.

    Which episodes of the series (1-5) runs at 60fps in split screen mode on Series X?

    Hey guys! As the title suggests I'm planning to have local coop session with my friend and I don't know if any of the campaigns runs at 60fps in split screen on Series X.

    I wouldn't like to download 500 GB and try them one by one so I would appreciate some help. Thanks!

    Besides being an OG mode that Gears was built on it's super fun to play. There's more than enough respawn modes(which I enjoy as well) but this is the only single life mode. Let us keep it for the sake of variety if nothing else.

    Nobody likes hitting 95+% shots. It is NOT FUN in the slightest. I cant recall theres ever been a time where I looked at a 98% shot and thought, "thats my fault, i should hit better shots"

    Ive easily hit over 500 99+% shots and at least 2000 95+%. It is the most broken, frustrating part of this game. Its even worse when your opponent gets to live and gib you for free while you have to sit there and get tbagged for a broken mechanic.

    Please, TC, if you read this, do something. This is killing my love for the game. I shouldn't have to suffer this much because my opponent has 10 better ping than me.

    PC performance has dropped since Operation 6 Drop 2

    I've been playing Gears 5 every day for about six months straight. I play on Ultra with an RTX 2080, and the game runs almost flawlessly, except for the occasional audio hiccup on Escape maps when there are lots of enemies.

    Since Drop 2, though, my performance has tanked. Really choppy frame rates. I thought it was Pahanu, which was the featured map yesterday. But it's hitting me on every Horde and Escape map I play.

    Has anyone else seen a big drop in performance since Tuesday's update?
