    Weekly Developer Stream Thursday!

    Where to Watch:

    When:

    • Starts at ~3pm PST
    • Lasts for ~1.5-2 hours

    Who:

    • Dana (u/tc-mjrdecision) usually the host
    • Occasionally other developers will join - like a map designer, the PvP lead, etc.
    • Someone typically works behind the scenes to run the stream/chat

    What:

    • The community team discusses any recent news and follows up with a Q/A session
    • Some streams have raffles or "click-to-claim" style prizes available!

    Check stickied comment for questions. They haven't announced a guest at this time, but I'll adjust topics to fit the guest whenever that's announced.

    The Rules: In order to condense the number of questions a bit, we have a few rules laid out. These rules are based on what we've experienced in the past, as we've started to learn what TC will and will not answer.

    *Also note that TC reads the twitch (and sometimes YouTube) chats for questions when live.

    Gears5’s story trailer might have told us which of both endings is canon even before the game’s release. If you look closely after the parts that showcase Act4 Ch2, Del never seem to appear in them: [1:00] and also a little bit after that in the trailer (but before storywise) [1:28].

    Ok guys, I get it: nobody likes to lose. It's frustrating and often feels unfair. But calling your teammates trash/basura after losing 1 round (or even before the first round is over) does NOT help anything. You are just creating animosity amongst yourselves which in turn discourages good team play.

    Try giving some constructive feedback instead.
    -"more lancer"
    -"stop running in alone"
    -"don't cap with less than 10 seconds left, just go to next!"
    -"someone come to boom with me" etc

    I am so sick of how toxic everyone is, and how quick they are to blame others. Go play FFA if you feel like your team is always letting you down. Or get a 5 stack going. Stop being little brats who feel entitled to win every match.

    PSA : Rings can only be broken every second, not just when you entered it.

    Just always seeing people complain about it but ring in KOTH only break when you go when the number changes, so you have to be in it on the second it changes.

    For example, if the ring has 60 seconds left, and you go in at 59.5 seconds left and go out before it reaches 59, then it won't break. If you go in the ring at 59.5 and stay in it for the half second (59 seconds), it'll break.

    Minh Ultimate: all teammates (including you) Have infinite ammo in their guns (All heavy weapon cannot overheat) the ability lasts 15 seconds (can be increased by skill cards)

    Passive: When Minh revives a teammate they gain 20% stim (can be increased by skill cards)

    Special skill cards. 1. Commanding officer: while a cog soldier is on your team, while close to the cog soldier you both do 10/25% more damage.

    1. "It's called experience" Increase time ultimate is active by 2/10 seconds

    2. Squad leader: increase fire rate by 5/20% when ultimate is active. (Teammates only)

    3. On your feet soldier! Increase the amount of stim teammates get on revive by 5\20%

    I demand Ultimate Edition to be fixed on PC

    Yes, you read that right. I demand it. You sold us a broken product and you're still selling a broken product. We paid for something that doesn't work and when it does work, it works like shit.

    You might say we have no right to demand all the free content you're giving us in Gears 5, because it's free (even though the game lacked content when it came out), but fine, let's say we have no right to demand any content for Gears 5 and we're getting it purely out of your generosity.

    We most certainly have a right to demand you to fix UE. I don't care how much development time or money it would cost to fix it, just ******* do it. Either that or give us our money back and take your crappy UE away. And stop selling it, as if it was a perfectly working product that is suitable for being sold in the MS Store.

    And don't you even think about giving us 500 iron in Gears 5 to make us feel better or something dumb like that. I just want you to fix the unplayable, broken mess we all paid for called Gears of War Ultimate Edition for Windows 10.

    I love gears who doesn't? Gears 5 for sure has its down falls. Not saying it is totally bad, there are some great perks to the game. The gnasher tuning, adjustment, what ever it may be needs to stop. Pick a setting and keep it. Stop catering to those who are awful at aim, are new players, and casual players. Gears is a religious game for me and damn I am so sick and tired of the constant "adjustments". Note, the tuning isn't terrible but I am tired of re-learning how to aim with the gnasher. it seems every two updates there is something new to it. Now you guys introduce a "developer tuning"? What is this? To me it just sounds like a disguised meta tuning that you plan on fucking with for days to come. You guys seriously need to go back to your roots and look at what gears of war is as a whole. If this isn't the project manager reading this than maybe an employee grow some balls and talk outward and shake the world. People on the forums and reddit constantly complaining not only gnasher but countless other bugs and problems. I see you horde guys. Microsoft calls this game their flagship game and all i am seeing is a sinking ship; more and more people becoming disappointing. Get your shit together.

    With how everyone is bouncing around, you can't fucking aim on a controller. I feel like it's 100% luck because you can't actually line up your shot because you have to be constantly moving and the enemy doesn't sit still. How the fuck do people do this?
