    *SPOILER: pretty bummed about Lizzies death.. this “carmine curse” was somewhat comical at first with Anthony getting smoked, Ben being torn up then Gary. Now killing the daughter of one of the carmines?! Imo it’s no longer comical.. it’s frustrating and annoying

    I'm not interested in hearing any excuses when it comes to characters and maps. Gears 5 is essentially just Gears 4 with way less on every front. We have War Machine (Boxes 2v2) in Gears 5 but not War Machine itself.

    We are always asking for the same things every single game. We always have to restart our character collection and wait months for characters we already had. We are always going to be stuck begging for maps and now we can't even have the remakes like Security and Avalanche from Gears 4. So those maps need to be remade again or ported. It's such a waste. How long will it be until we ever see Palace Guard playable again in a Gears game? How long do we have to wait to get Savage Kantus or V-Day Sam?

    Stop pushing this Loadout/ability system for all the characters. No one even wanted it and it ended up completely screwing over everyone who just wanted more characters for multiplayer. I play more than just Versus but damn you guys completely shafted anyone who is just playing Versus. You have to design so much extra stuff for these characters now and the characters themselves still aren't even balanced for Horde and Escape.

    So the Coalition and Microsoft just released a video talking about the accessibility options in Gears 5 but it doesn't seem to just be about Gears 5.

    At 2:11 of the video, you can see escape characters (Lahni, Mac and Keegan) in a never before seen cutscene. I'm thinking next gen story DLC or expansion focused on them.

    I love playing Baird but as with all engineers, it's really aggravating when people forget to deposit. Instead of opening a chat window to slowly type "deposit plz", it would be nice to just spam a "Deposit your power" emote 2-3 times if you see someone sitting on >5k.

    Would be no different than spamming "Group up" when playing Keegan before you pop your super.

    Hey so I'm new to the game. I understand how my load out works but I just don't think I understand most of the strategy in the game. Like every type of game I have, every person in the game has 3,000-4,000 points and I have 1,500. Idk what to do. Any help?

    Just noticed that Gears 5 did not have a single nighttime level

    Act 1 is sunny, then hits dusk with light later on. Act 2 is snowy but it's daytime. Act 3 is set in the desert so it's obviously sunny. Act 4 was the closest, seems like it was just about to hit nighttime before the game ended.

    Good campaign but that was just odd to me, Gears 1-4 all had atleast one or two nighttime levels.

    Possible World Record for Gears 5?

    Help me with campaign with Gears 5 Act 3: Rocket plan on insane (save glitch)

    Started playing campaign on insane since that's the way I've played through them all so far. So far so good with no show stopper moments (lots of replays from recent saves though).

    I finally made it to the Railway turntable through the storm and found myself in a position where I didn't have enough ammo to defeat the hordes of enemies that end up with the warden, so I went back through the storm valley and gathered more gear, making my way back to the base, and then heading back to the turntable all geared up.

    Here's the thing; the game was now auto saved all the way back to the beginning of the desert, meaning when I die in the turntable, I have to drive again a 5-minute ride just to get to the storm valley that's very hard to pass, finally enter the turntable, wait through the loading screens and if I fail that level not only does the game reset back to the other end of the desert. It does not help that due to distant save location it also takes ages to load all that data in.

    I've tried to find any additional spots in the desert that would auto save the game some place even a bit nearer to the valley, but with no luck. Due to bad design on the Coalition's side, the save system with free roaming has really pooped on me big time. I usually don't mind grinding, but if it takes me 10 minutes just to get to replay that grind, it's just too much for me, especially when I know it should not be this way if the game had saved like it's supposed to, right when you arrive to the turntable gates (according to Youtube videos).

    What to do? I know could play the whole Act again (which I don't really feel like doing at this point), lower the difficulty so that I know I'll pass the turntable without any grinding (also, really don't feel like doing this after making it all this way without bigger setbacks).

    I just got gears 5 on my xbox one and the audio in the campaign is super choppy.

    I don't know what it is and I've looked it up online but the fix is only for pc. If anyone has had this happen to them, what did you do to fix it?

    All games save for judgment had additional DLC chapters... which were mostly great...

    I can't find any for gears 4 & 5... tho.
