    Weekly Developer Stream Today!

    Where to Watch:

    When:

    • Starts at ~3pm PST
    • Lasts for ~1.5-2 hours

    Be sure to check for a stickied comment below. If anything changes in regards to day/time, we'll be sure to have that info in the stickied comment!

    Who:

    • Most weeks, Dana (u/tc-mjrdecision) and Liam (u/OctusTC) host
    • Occasionally Ryan (u/n0dezero) or some other developer
    • Andius (Community Team) works behind the scenes to run the stream/chat

    What:

    • The community team discusses any recent news and follows up with a Q/A session
    • Some streams have raffles or "click-to-claim" style prizes available!

    Submitting Questions!

    Currently TC looks at 2 main places for questions: The Chat and General community discussion. In attempt to gather some better questions that TC may be able to better prepare answers for, we are going to look at collecting some questions in this thread.

    Also note that this is not a thread that is officially supported by TC. We cannot guarantee that they'll see and/or use this. But we figure it's worth a shot. If nothing else, maybe someone else in the thread will be able to answer your questions!

    I'm using my free daily skip to skip these bunk ass challenges and it deadass feels like the devs put those challenges in there because they know their the most asinine and most difficult thing they could have asked players to do. So most players, myself included are going to use their skip on them.

    2v2 lost friendly fire but why?

    After playing some 2v2 on 5, I'm noticing the 2 v 1 so frequently, all I can say when it happens, and you see the enemy team laying shots into each other as they try and 2 man push even at the start of the round when everyone is still alive is; wouldn't happen if we still had friendly fire

    I guess what I'm asking is, why did friendly fire go away?

    For all executions that don’t use our weapon, map them to the Y button

    Think about it. There are a lot of great executions to show off with and surely even more on the way. For executions that don't use your equipped weapon we should be able to set them to the Y button.

    We could even have a randomizer where it picks from one of all your executions or even better it could choose from the ones you have marked as favorites.

    My daily challenge currently is win a match on reclaimed. I've been actively searching for it for over 4 hours now.

    Oh and did I mention I despise versus? I bought this game to play horde.

    Tour of duty not loading?

    Basically the title. I just logged in for the first time in like a month and a half. I stopped playing because something broke every week, so I log back in and my tour objectives won't load, and the store is down for me LOL. This is just sad and annoying man, I just want to see my fucking tour objectives. Why is this game always broken in some way :(

    My friend and I are decent players but always get paired with some pretty awful randoms.

    We're looking to get a group going who play regularly so none of us have to suffer randoms a more.

    We are UK based and play evenings, we communicate in game so mic required please. Its casual, but we are good players and want to win, so we'd like people who will take it seriously.

    Today is 12/18- And I am still loving Gears 5!

    Still play daily and am highly enjoying my time!! Just got done grinding out Baird, Lizzy is next!

    Some TLC I would love to see in the future:

    -Ability to change characters while playing in a ranked/vs loop, just continuing or backing out is a bit bland.

    -Ability to check tour in between matches or while waiting.

    -So many cool weapon skins, I kinda wish that you could deck out different characters with a different skin loadout and not streamline it to every character.

    I look forward to getting general, and unlocking all the characters then onto the next Tour!!

    Anybody else unable to select the Lizzie ToD skin on the character?

    I unlocked it, it shows up in the menu, but I can't select it. On console. Had a similar problem in ToD1 where it would work on PC, not on Xbox.
