| Is it luck when it comes to killing Raam legit? Posted: 05 Oct 2020 10:50 PM PDT Fighting Raam on solo on insane. Such a BS and a bit lame of a final boss fight. Perhaps I'm just not Gud enough, but I always have to cheese this boss fight by getting him stuck on that same spot. It's annoying cause it doesn't feel rewarding, but I could never beat him legit cause literally anything can insta-kill you and you have to baby sit Dom throughout the fight. Does this fight just take a lot of luck and patience to kill him ligit? [link] [comments] | ||

Maps like Stasis, Ruins, and RIVER have been absent for over 10 years. Gears 2 & 3 have some of the best MAPS in the entire series. Despite this, Gears 2 & 3 have a collective 8/54 maps remade. Here's a brief history on all that maps that have been remade. Is it me, or does anyone else feel that Gears 2 and 3 have been neglected in terms of legacy maps? Maps that have been remade by series: GOW1: 12/19 maps remade 1. Gridlock (GOW2, GOW3, GOW4) 2. Canals (GOW2, GOW4, GOW5) 3. War Machine (GOW2, GOW4, GOW5 2v2) 4. Clock tower (GOW3, GOW4) 5. Fuel Depot (GOW 2, GOW4) 6. Raven Down (GOW 3, GOW 4) 7. Mansion (GOW2) this need to comeback 8. Tyro Station (GOW2) 9. Subway (GOW2) 10. Bullet Marsh (GOW3) 11. Sanctuary (GOW 2) PC map 12. Gold Rush (GOW 2) PC map 13. Courtyard (GOW 2) PC map GOW3: 4/25 maps remade. 1. Mercy (GOW 4) 2. Old Town (GOW 4) 3. Dry dock (GOW 4) 4. The Slab (GOW 4) 5. Checkout (GOWJ, GOW4, GOW5) GOW4: 9/34 maps remade. 1. Foundation (GOW 5) 2. Lift (GOW 5) 3. Dam (GOW 5) 4. Forge (GOW 5) 5. Harbor (GOW 5) 6. Harbor Haze (GOW 4) remade in gow4 7. Impact Dark (GOW 4) remade in gow4 8. Forge Blitz (GOW 4) remade in gow4 9. Lighting Reclaimed (GOW 4) remade in GOW4 GOWJ: 0/10 and now... GOW2: 4/29 maps remade.

| Gears 3 horde: can't often pick up items Posted: 06 Oct 2020 03:14 AM PDT Yes, I'm playing Gears 3 and not 5. I frequently can't restore ammo or either pick up explosive weapons such as boomshot, even during the wave warmup. I hold Y and nothing happens. Is there some intentional hidden limit or should you be able to collect all weapon pick ups at all times? And what's up with the ammo crates? [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 05 Oct 2020 11:02 PM PDT So in the final cutscene in Gears 5, after defeating the Kraken thing, when everybody is getting up from the rubble, Clayton doesn't show up even though he was at the final fight. Did anyone find the story in Gears very light on background detail? They don't really touch on much about E-Day, Marcus' father, Dom's wife, Anya, etc. I'm hesitant to hit up Wikipedia since it might spoil future Gears games, I'm wondering if there were some appendices included in the manual or something that added more context to the history of Sera and the background of the characters?
