    As someone who bought an Xbox for Gears 5, it’s really disappointing compared to the older games

    One of the main reasons I bought an Xbox (Just an all-digital one for Christmas because it was cheapest) was because of Gears 5. After seeing good reviews, everything about it looked great. But it turned out to be very underwhelming. Since I had Game Pass I tried out the other Gears games and found the older games were so much better. To be fair, I only played Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition, Gears of War 3, and Gears Of War 4 Multiplayer. But it really shows me why the series was loved.

    -The story is fine but doesn't have the scale that the older games had

    -It is lacking in enemy variety compared to the original trilogy. The third game had a full set of Locust enemy types, Lambent, a creepy centipede that would bite you in the ass, Pylops (Pylops didn't really add much), Armored Kantus (Which was horrifying when I realized it could only be killed with grenades or a ton of bullets), and some more I'm probably missing. The enemy designs were also much creepier compared to the Swarm.

    -The ending feels sort of abrupt. We fix the Hammer of Dawn just to have the city invaded, the Hammer now needs beacons instead of just the normal laser, Del or JD are killed in a very forced and arbitrary decision (Throw the knife! At her face!), and it's just not very satisfying.

    -The same boss is reused and has the exact same mechanics, even in the finale, with only slight change.

    -Multiplayer lacks a ton of the customization that the other games have. It's roster is embarrassing compared to 3, and is nothing compared to 4.

    -Gears 4 had a ton of cool-looking skins to pursue. Most in 5 are locked behind a paywall.

    -This is personal. But 4 just feels better gameplay wise in Multiplayer

    -Escape is decent but Beast Mode was far better. Playing as the Locust was fun and engaging. Tearing through defenses and people as a Berserker was amazing.

    -Ranked is broken

    A lot of this is personal but Gears 5 just really feels like a step back from 4 and the original trilogy. If they took the Campaign and Beast Mode form 3 with the Multiplayer from 4, and Gears would be a system seller

    Just finished a match of TDM. Got demoted from Gold 3, and got banned even though I finished the match. Haven't played the game in a week. Yeah Gears is dead.......

    Right now I feel like Op3 got pushed back so I can wait even longer for 4 characters (2 not usable in anything but versus), maybe one new map and a FFA that I can duplicate with escape editor, and some more cosmetics.

    Tell us if more characters are coming! If you're working on Beast then get us hyped now! Give us a poll for maps you're thinking about bringing back! Tell us if you're done doing banners and working on even better content for the Tour of Duty!

    We know there's lots of bugs, weapons and movement that can be improved, daily objectives that can be removed to make getting stars fun, and new stuff will bring it's fair share of problems, but at least tell us what's next.

    I don't know why I bother when people were upset right off the bat when E3 gave us an escape trailer and nothing else.

    Horde players aren’t a priority...

    Confirming what we already know: TC answered my dev stream question directly and said Horde leaderboard rewards aren't a priority right now. They'd rather reward Versus/Escape players for their leaderboard efforts, but we get nothing.

    I'm massively disappointed in TC. Search for info about horde, TC doesn't have anything about skills or cards. Most 3rd party sites just have launch characters. Why isn't there a website more like Gears 4 where we can upgrade, scrap, read, etc? Anyone else feel like we are beta testers? Shame on you

    So I played Gears of war judgement campaign (Both Judgement and aftermath)

    I think as the worst gears game by many people, it a fine game. Sure it not as epic as Gears of war 3 (Nothing can top Gears 3) i think the game is good. I like the declassify system and some of the weapons look sick (Huge shoutouts to whoever made the design of the breechshot and the tripwire crossbow). As for some problems, one of the problems were the glitches. Another problem was the final boss is way to easy ( I was playing this on normal). And as for Aftermath, I enjoy it for the most part but it suffers from one shot syndrome where some parts have the one shot enemy which I hate to go up against. Overall I enjoy Gears judgement. It not bad but it also not great.

    Yeah I know this isn't likely to happen but it would help revive this game.

    Move all of the Store content into ToD and XP level ups. Get your micro transaction money from people buying XP Boosters to rank up faster and unlock more stuff.

    Now you have a reason for there to be 50 Re-ups in the game. Might as well get some good will and trust back with your customers.

    I don't get why when you're playing an objective oriented game type that you made actually capturing worthless. Caps and breaks used to be 300 and 100 points respectively, but 30 and 10? Wtf? What gives motivation to cap and break then?
