    So I've just recently started to play the gears games after over decade of being an Xbox gamer. I saw them all on game pass, started the first and am now about to finish 5. But my question is, why aren't these more mainstream. They are fantastic games, but I'd never heard much hype around them so had never played them. I'm someone who's quite plugged into gaming culture as well.

    After playing these how can console war lovers chime in and say all we have is halo? These are as good if not better than a lot of Sony exclusives and I feel like they just fly under the radar.

    Bring back the pre-Op4 scoring system and award players GP based on where they place out of the entire lobby

    I made a post earlier today about how to fix KOTH GP and I think this is just a better solution for koth and the other game modes. Here's how I think it should work out:

    KEEP:

    • GP win bonus

    • Buy in's for each tier (adjusted slightly)

    • Matches created by player rank, one tier above and below like it currently is

    CHANGE:

    • Bring back the old scoring system

    • Players are awarded GP purely on whether they win the match and what position they place on the final scoreboard. The higher their tier, the higher they must place to avoid losing points from a loss.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this solves a lot of the current issues with the ranking system right now.

    • Less potential for farming GP

    • More emphasis on personal performance, better players rank up faster

    • Winning and teamwork is still the fastest way to rank up at the end of the day

    • More difficult to play in a stack and get carried through the ranks, as winning but performing poorly will net you minimal points as your rank increases.

    In free for all his helmet doesn't change to red like the other cog characters. Not sure if anyone's noticed this but it bugs me since I only play him.

    Hello all, recently back on gears since October 2019 a lot has changed but need a bit of advice.

    When the character challenges were there I finished a couple and got some of the coins but I was doing one before I stopped playing. Now have said character using the coins but is there a way to stop the challenge process coming up on the end of game stats as they have been removed?
