    As seen on Inside Xbox today, The Coalition has confirmed that Gears Tactics has gone gold for the PC, and will be available on Xbox later this year. The segment was a run-down of the "five things you need to know" about Gears Tactics, hosted by Tyler Bielman, Publishing Design Director, The Coalition, including new gameplay footage.

    as someone who doesn't play Gears that much anymore due to other games and friends groups playing other games (none of them play gears), when i get on and want to play a ranked game and get crossed and out rotated by a 5 stack as a solo its so frustrating. this was even before this Operation, and with the changes they made this operation its so much worse. i think we deserve one ranked play list where you and everyone else in the game are solo

    Obviously one of the smaller issues with the game, but still an annoying one. Skins like mechanic baird, lieutenant del and stalker kantus are old skins from an old game. This isn't new exclusive content that a functioning store is supposed to be. True they cost 250 iron, which is about a quarter of the price new skins were, but imo that is still too much for a low effort remake of a skin that was FREE in the last one. Just stop TC, save the store for skins that are actually new and interesting and put these ones in supply or something.

    As a side note, lieutenant fenix is in the tour of duty. Whats the difference between lieutenant fenix and lieutenant del, why does 1 go into tour and the other into the store, exlusively unlocked with real money. They're very similar skins I don't understand the process behind how you pick and choose what is worth real money.

    All this crap about wrestling moves, rap music, and fist bump mvp emotes really takes me out of the pure raw gritty ness of the originals. It just looks adolescent to me. Maybe it's just me though?

    Gears Tactics will have zero store. Every cosmetics will be unlockable in-game. Even the main vilain is badass as meatball lasagna.

    Recently I've just been thinking about the amazing game that was GOW3 an end to one of the best XBOX trilogies and I logged back on to the game and saw all of my old content and achievement and saw 0 worldwide. When I saw that it painted me to see that the game was forgotten so I'm asking does anyone else remember the masterpiece of GOW3

    That's a weird way to word it, but I'm basically suggesting that the mode would work better on larger, asymmetrical maps that have a lot of cover, walls, etc. Maps designed like counter strike, for exampme

    I say this because with the way Gears maps currently are, it's almost impossible to move around without the other team spotting you out. And it's not that easy to make plays, or pushes, or take fights without everyone on the map being able to cross you.

    I feel like it'll make for a more suspenseful mode if the maps allowed for more individual fights and plays. The pacing would be better and there'd be greater room for clutch plays. A slight change they'd have to make is for one team to be offense and the other team to be defense

    How does the Ranked matches system in Gears 5 work?

    So I'm just terrible, terrible at Ranked MP in Gears 5, I'm always in the bottom 90%. Not something I really care about, because I don't care about MP in general. But I am an achievement fan, so I'm trying to get one ranked win a week for this current op.

    But ranked matches just don't seemed balanced at all, it can take hours to get a single win, I'm in the lowest tier, yet I keep getting into games with godlike players who usually get double or triple the amount of kills the best player on my team gets.

    Is this a known issue? Why are these amazing players in the Bronze tier with me? When I'm one of the worst players in the game? Shouldn't it be matching me with players of similar skill? I don't mind having to get a single win a week, but when it seems this unbalanced, it's just so dull and tedious trying to get a win.

    Key gameplay mechanics are broke AGAIN!

    The OP3 update completely broke this game. Gameplay felt butter smooth and responsive at the end of OP2. It was a thrill to play. The cover system was snappy and reliable. The gnasher finally worked for once. Lancer was viable but not ridiculously over powered. It wasn't perfect but it felt like TC was finally getting something right.

    Then they had to ruin a good thing. Now I keep getting stuck on cover. My inputs to wrap and switch cover are often misinterpreted. The gnasher is completely unreliable and missed shots are inexplicable. The Lancer is entirely too over powered and everybody is camping constantly.

    The game feels almost exactly like it did at launch. It is unreliable garbage and super frustrating to play. I have been trying to give TC the benefit of the doubt, but this is just pathetic. Either they don't play test their own game, or they want it to be a dumpster fire. 🔥🔥🔥

    Please speak up if you dislike the recent changes!
