    Hey there, you might not remember, but three months ago I made a post talking about OP 1. You can see it here.

    Holy shit, what was this OP? I gotta say, Baird, Lizzie, Drone Locust, Kantus and Jermad where not the characters that I expected to see added. Don't get me wrong, they're fan favorites (Even Jermad and he's kinda niche) but Lizzie could've, and should've, been replaced with Cole.

    Free for All was nice, it still is. I can't help but to think it was a one trick pony, I played it like 10 times just to get the "Win 5 games of FFA" and then I never touched it again unless it was required for weapon skins.

    And talking about skins, what the hell was TC thinking with the Winter Skins? Marcus looked cool when I saw him at the store, but then Fahz, Baird and JD came out and they looked...soulless. They were so blatantly a cheap cash grab and I'm surprised people bought those skins.

    Oh, and don't even get me started on Baird. Man got four (4) skins this Operation! I get that he's popular, but come on! You could've made some skins for my pal Del, you know his Lieutenant Walker skin from Gears 4 was fuego! Tho I'll give TC respect for the Marcus and Baird Hivebusters skin, they actually are skins for them and not blatant recolours of their armors. But where's the love for bald Baird, Coalition? He looks like a groomer, but that's the design you gave him. Luckily, DBi Baird is coming next OP.

    Bugs, never encountered one, but fuck the balancing problems with the Gnasher.

    AGAIN, ToD is pointless after you reach general. We need some incentive to keep playing the game after we finish it. Personally, I don't find the game interesting enough to warrant my attention after completing all the ranks. We should get XP or 5 iron for every 3/5 stars.

    Talking about currency, scrap is pointless, there's nothing good to be crafted with it. TC, what's up with that? Add character skins that can be crafted like you said you would three months ago! We got Classic Del, JD and Kait, those were craftable, but nothing else. And the weapon skins are not cool enough to spend scrap on it. It's only use is to craft the character totems.

    Overall, OP 2 was a slight improvement from first operation. On a scale of Judgement to Gears 2, OP 2 is Gears. Good, enjoyable, but could be improved on and it better be or this game will get the last nail on it's coffin.

    I was at major general 3 with 5 stars. now I'm at general with 5 stars. it jumped an entire rank. I restarted my xbox 4 times and I'm still at general. is this the coalition? or am I just lucky?

    Tips for Grinding Classic Baird (ToD 2)

    just wanted to write up some quick tips for grinding classic baird if people are still having some difficultly with the tedious medals. Really hated having to grind for a character skin outside of versus but really wanted to get the classic baird skin.

    Unfortunately i wasn't able to farm alot of these in private custom versus matches but could in private horde/escape matches. i would prefer to do all the grinding on versus but it is not reliable and efficient (time wise/ variance in game types or modes).

    150 executions: Horde as marcus. Use your lancer chainsaw to get as many executions as possible. I personally start at wave 1 with bots.

    150 revives: private horde w/ bots on all father's arena(?) Start on wave 37 and rack up revives and the bots start going down. dont really try to complete the wave, just die and restart again. you can usually get around 5 -15 revives per wave.

    5000 kills/ 12000 eliminations: Private match Escape on beginner. choose "the detour" map.

    i chose baird (ironically) but i find the boltok really useful for farming the 700 headshots medal as well.

    on the detour map there are multiple safe room doors that will take you to the next "act". we are going to ignore all doors until we get to the very last one. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU SPAWN JUVIES ON THE MAP. if you get leeches as the small enemies, return to the lobby and restart the level. you need to spawn juvies as they are reliable kills.

    kill all waves as you head further into the map. at the very end of the map there is a camp and spawns juvies forever on the left side and a safe room door on your right.

    i farm juvies until i die by them or by the toxic gas and restart the act again. i only complete the whole escape act when i want to claim the kills (do not leave the game or you will not be able to claim your kills).

    you can generally net around 200-300 kills before dying. rinse and repeat about 3 times for 1000ish kills before completing the escape run.

    15 Million damage: I did this the hard way. i believe you can glitch the damage with one of the engineers on horde and lizzie. repair lizzies sliver back when its is taking damage till it explodes.

    this should net you the 15 million damage via glitch but im not sure it works anymore.

    I dont play with anyone online 😥so i had to solo horde all the damage.

    waves 44, 45 ,46 (beginner difficulty with the more health amplifier) as an engineer (baird or del). Choose the map asylum and setup your base on the tunel/ underpass (where boltok spawns in versus).

    build 2 level 2 barriers and place them on each end (furthest part where the cover ends).

    build 2 level 3 turrets on each end at the main entrance of the tunnel/ underpass.

    turrets will do 99% of the work. just make sure to repair them and kill the mini boss on wave 45.

    waves 44 nets 150kish damage

    wave 45 nets 200-250kish damage

    wave 46 nets 200K damage

    ​

    (wave 47 generally nets you 150K damage. the reason i dont restart wave 45 over and over again is my preference. i dont want to restart and replace turrets etc. )

    hope this helps. if anyone has any more effective ways of doing this to help out others that would be nice.

    P.S.- TC please dont make things like this again. they are very tedious and take enjoyment away from the game. i work an 8-5 and have other hobbies. ive enjoyed this franchise for over 10 years but the direction in earning achievements outside of a player's typical game type (versus, horde, escape) is very distasteful.

    Gears 5 is buggy yes but the player base is so toxic not even cod has people messaging you anymore ridiculous whether your good or bad grow up please
