    Snagged myself a Gears of War collectors edition, in great condition. I do miss getting a good manual packed in with games these days!

    I sent in a support request ticket about 3 weeks ago, finally got a response today. My ticket was requesting help with a disconnection issue I have on PC but not on my Xbox. I average 1 disconnect per game while playing on my PC and I never disconnect on my Xbox. My PC is connected to the SAME exact ethernet hub that my Xbox One X is connected to. I listed all of the relevant information including PC specs, internet speeds, software versions, etc. The reply I got after a 20+ day wait was extremely disappointing...

    Are you still having issues with this? Has the latest update resolved this for you?

    Instead of providing any details or help or extra troubleshooting, they wasted my last 20+ days with a "Are you still having issues with this?" What, am I going to have to wait an additional 20 days to get a fucking second response now? This is not how you run a business, this is not how you run support.

    I have lost all faith in TC and I will not be purchasing another Gears game. I have lost all hope, this game could've been great, but the terrible team at TC turned it into a dumpster fire. I hope the rest of you can enjoy it, I no longer can. I am so glad I got the Game Pass instead of buying Gears 5 because that would've been a complete waste of money.

    I can't enjoy Gears the kills don't feel deserved just because i got one hit on the person. The servers will determine if i'm gonna play good or not. The maps are boring. Half the map roster is from the last Gears. Worst gears ever.

    We all love them, we all have our favourite, But no opinions here, pure objective facts. Fredo and D are excluded.

    From worst to best.

    1. Will Carmine: Uncle of the brothers, Will had a brief appearance as the classic "one week from retirement" soldier in Rise of Raam. He was the first Human Raam killed. It may be unfair, seeing how linear his portrayal was and as he has never been playable.

    2. Gary Carmine: Gary was done dirty by TC, we all know this, but nevertheless Gary was severely lackluster for us Carmine fans who were speculating about Carmine in Gears 4. With a terrible and confusing death, Gary came off as more of mockery to the fans then an homage to the red shirt family. However, Gary was arguably saved in multiplayer, with his Meta lines and unhinged personality.

    2: Anthony Carmine: The original, we have to respect Anthony for begging for this lineage, but unfortunately he is made innate by his Young brother Ben, who is a Anthony done right. His death is iconic. None of his MP lines stand out besides he legendary "Something wrong with this thing" that we all purposefully fail our reload to hear, or just me?

    1. Clayton Carmine: The veteran Carmine, Claytons Fate was decided by the fan base itself. Clayton is portrayed as badass which a lot of fans love. Clayton also had the most sentimental value, with his memorial tattoo and his appearance in 3 Gears campaigns, and his heartwarming reunion with Lizzie. Clayton also has survived all 3 games he has appeared in. Claytons voice lines are the most iconic of all carmines.

    2. Elizabeth Carmine: The newest Carmine and only Female Carmine, Lizzie was an actual Character unlike Gary. Lizzie was a great return to the Carmine roots. Lizzie also got the honour of appearing with another Carmine, Uncle Clay, in the same screen. Which added to the sentiment value. She had a sad and meaningful death, rivalled only by her Uncle Benjamin's. Lizzie is also the daughter of D Carmine, adding some mystery factor. Lizzie In MP is hilarious, if not sometimes too goofy. She has many meta references and homages.

    3. Benjamin Carmine: The rookie trooper done right, Benjamin had the most screen time of any Carmine, Benjamin warmed our hearts and his fate is in many gears fans top 3 saddest moments. Benjamin has many great voice lines and has the unique Mark 2 helmet.

    Should "Flash Bang" be put as a pickup item instead of a load out?

    Playing KOTH both teams constantly spam flash bangs and it honestly ruins the game mode in my opinion. Should it be a pickup item?

    FPS/Stuttering makes multiplayer unplayable (Windows Store)

    Iv literally tried 2/3 multiplayer games and it is unplayable. Is there a fix for the severe fps drop/stuttering I'm getting? Im trying everything, all graphics set to low, hell even 720p and cant run this game.

    cpu: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, gpu: RTX 2060 super, 16gb ram

    Playing Gears for the first time, need some help regarding lore

    Right now I'm playing through act IV of GoW Ultimate Edition. I'm pretty impressed with both visuals and gameplay, can't believe the game is almost 14 years old.

    The only thing I don't like is the absolute absence of lore. Apart from a very short opening cinematic nothing is said about the world except for enemies' types and races.

    Will more lore be told in second and third parts of the game? If not, is where some kind of non-spoiler guide about the world of the game?

    As title says, i just got back on gears after the recent patch, and im curious, is it realistic to think i can grind the operation and still unlock everything from start to finish before its over? Or is it too late? I dont really remember how it all works, just know that you complete challenges for stars, stars for ranks and so on.
