Multiple days in a row all that's to be found in standard horde search for a half hour of searching is the daily mutator, full of AFKs and idlers, plus people who queued not looking for a special horde mode that requires a specific build. The Daily mutator needs to be it's own search queue, and the non-mutator it's own. This is getting ridiculous, and just making me not want to play at all, when I love horde. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 18 Mar 2021 10:53 PM PDT Recently I acquired a 2560x1080 Widescreen monitor and I started to get motion sickness, When I used to play at 1920x1080 at 80° FOV I never got any motion sickness but now in Widescreen, I had to set the FOV to 100° to diminish the dizziness but is not good enough. Is there an option in some INI file of some sort to set the FOV to a custom value? [link] [comments] | ||
| Unpopular opinion: "Elimination" are the "participation trophy" of modern gaming Posted: 18 Mar 2021 02:33 PM PDT I get why the elimination system is there, to make newer players feel better about themselves blah blah blah etc etc. However, dealing 1 point of damage to someone and then they run away and get killed by someone else and then you getting credit for an "elimination" is stupid (for lack of a better word). Kills and assists are the way to go imo because it gives you more detail into what exactly you did in the game, not just one big lump stat. Also there's more of a fulfilling feeling when you improve using the kill/assist system vs the elimination system, because you can look back and go "wow a couple of weeks ago I was getting no kills every game, but now I'm getting (x amount) every game pretty consistently!". In my opinion you have to start WAY at the bottom and improve from there to get that feeling of success, instead of essentially just being handed "eliminations" for barely doing anything. The path should have multiple branches/environmental hazards and swarms to get in your way. You can DBNO for 20 times until you die permanently, and you can get up only in 1-2 seconds after DBNO. It might be nice if each path has some series of 'puzzles' to solve before moving on to the next part (like hitting some switches in certain order and wait for the bridge to elevate and become available and stuff) You should cooperate w/ everyone who chose that path, until at the end it becomes fierce competition again. Well, I know something like this will never happen, considering how Escape was largely abandoned by TC since OP5. But I'm just fiddling with the idea. [link] [comments] | ||
