    I get since OP 4 started the dynamics significantly changed with perks becoming worthwhile. And people are going to be impatient and often build what they want instead of letting the builder. However, when someone actually donates and instead of setting up barriers or lockers you go straight for turrets. You're the reason nobody has faith in engineers anymore.

    Its just frustrating, I'd like to be able to take advantage of the engineers cheaper fortifications but every time I try I get burned. Explicit messages asking for a locker are often ignored.

    Delmont and JD - The final Decision.

    I marked this post as a spoiler because someone could accidentally get to known what he will have to do in future

    Sorry for my English, it is my secondary language and i'm still learning how to use it properly

    It is a Campaign/Lore stuff, everything with Novel parts etc.

    As you may know, someone Has to die in last moments of Gears 5 Campaitn. TC made it an actual decision.

    So after a long time Kait finally meets new ,,Myrrah" but she needs to save her friends. She has to throw knife at one of Myrrah's tentacles. For me a better decision would be killing Myrrah, but okay, I understand

    Well when i was not into Gears lore as much as i was now, I killed JD. It was a fast decision based-off the Campaign and my own opinion. Now i still think, that that's not that bad thing to do, even if we care about Marcus.

    So JD in GoW4 was very nice. We can see that he has a close friendship with Del and a small love-thing with Kait. Probably one of the reasons why JD could join the Outsiders (and joined them) was that he was very close with Kait. These three friends were nice to see, still kids, but yet intelligent/smart. But in Gears 5 we can see that... He changed. He had more secrets than before. He's like his father. He almost sacrificed himself for his friends, but after that they just got to know that he killed innocent people. Then he changed his look, he changed everything. We can see a lot about his character. He lost his mom, now he lost his ,,girlfriend".

    Maybe JD was too young to feel these sort of things. But in Gears 5 we can see that writers Wanted us to feel less good about him than in GoW5, so they gave us a look at Delmont Walker.

    And here he comes, Del. Del was a good friend, and many of us said that he's another Baird, but nicer and more positive. Well yep he's smart and stuff but we got to play him a lot in Co-op and we see that he cares about his friends more than he cared about anyone. But we don't know anything about his past (compared to JD). We see that Del in Gears 5 is closer to Kait, though. JD still gives her compliments, but as i looked at their relatoonship, Kait trusts only Del now. And, Del knows more about her family's past too, so he could be more useful if it comes to informations he got.

    So Del has a potential and character to create - he needs time. For me that's not good to leave him for death.

    Okay, but what about Marcus?

    Well, Kait lost almost everyone. Well, if we kill JD, then she's basically in a situation like Anya when Marcus got in The Slab. Anya had then Hoffman, who was like a dad for her (she even asked Hoffman if he's her dad), and she had Dom.

    So we can say that Marcus could care about Kait like he cared about his son. He did a lot for her. He even let her go to Mount Kadar and discover the truth. Del? Del could be her closest friend, or, even, a boyfriend. So Marcus could still live (in a worse condition, but yet still alive) and take care of Kait. In Gears 6 he could sacrifice himself, like he almost did for Carlos.

    Well if we kill Del - it would be nice to see JD and Marcus relations. I mean, yes we know that Marcus acts weird, but he would understand his son and they could be closer than before. And we got Baird if we had problems with robots/Jack. And, Jack dies, so his death could lead us to Del's death.

    So the conclusion is:

    Del has bigger chances to die, because if JD dies, Kait would be broken (she would feel like she still could say sorry to him, that she wasn't enough), Marcus would definitely get himself lost (even if he had Kait to take care about).

    If Del was alive, we could see more about his past and family and get more infos about him.

    And even if i choose JD to die, i'd feel bad about Marcus and Fahz

    And what are your thoughs about this situation?

    Anyone else? Im used to playing about 15 ping, but im joining games with 80-200 ping its ridiculous. The delay in kills and people literally teleporting is ruining my games

    Anyone else want the original trilogy on PC?

    I was replaying the gears 1 campaign today and experienced some serious nostalgia. I just kept thinking about replaying the gears 2 and 3 campaign since I remember them being awesome. I wish they would get a port/remaster with modern graphics, even if it is just the campaigns.

    We need more locust!

    Hey guys ! So since TC is listening to us I thought I'd give this a shot. Let me just say that I looooove how much they have updated the game. Skins , banners etc. with that being said we need more locust characters and skins. We have way to many cogs and not as many bad guys. I personally enjoy playing more as a locust than cogs. What do y'all think? What skins or characters would you like to see ?
