    Remember how Gears 4 allowed any class to build or upgrade all fortifications?

    They had jacked up prices compared to the engineer, but you could choose to solo horde as an assault class and build/upgrade forts as you saw fit.

    Why on earth did they change this? What good does it do to split up random forts to random characters, with some not even able to build anything?

    This has always bothered me but I just got around to trying to solo horde and it's literally impossible unless you're an engineer.

    So I suppose the Gears 1 Ultimate Edition has been left for dead?

    I just installed it last night and was disappointed to find that even though my PC is well above the recommended specs, it runs pretty terribly for a 2016 remaster of a 2006 game.

    I couldn't find any possible/working fixes, only four year old forum posts and a sketchy youtube video with a URL shortened link attached.

    I read that it had something to do with a Windows update at the time, do you think there's any chance at all it'll be fixed?

    Surely that's not going to work forever?

    Are you meaning to tell me one Scion isn't going to nudge another and ask "Hey, have you noticed all these humans we've been abducting have had bombs on them? Bombs that specifically kill us?"

    The Swarm are connected right? Surely they'd see what's happening to other hives and avoid the Busters, or put guards at the pods, or stop building their hives in places with big doors that can be only opened from the outside?

    (A mix of humour, but a genuine question there too!)

    I was in a game with a bunch of Spanish people who were tbagging people when they killed them. And they used boom shot. It was arcade because I was bored. Anyways, after doing it back I found out they were all partied up, then we played a game after that and I was acting toxic, 34-5 major comeback, and made mvp, my team won. They were disappointing. Just thought I'd share their humility
