    The game should reserve your spot in a lobby for 2-3 minutes if you disconnect from a horde match so you can rejoin

    Had a great horde match going on on inconceivable difficulty. Everything was going great, had a team that regularly deposited, everyone was doing their part, a good Jack that was moving the forge with him to smelt weapons, and a Kait that moved up from the base allowing me to expand outside. Probably the best group of randoms I've ever played with.

    Then all of a sudden I disconnect from the Gears 5 servers, not my internet's fault since I can still browse the web just fine. Figured I could just find the lobby and rejoin it only to be greeted by "Not enough room in the lobby for your squad", because someone else had joined in during the minute it took me to reconnect (although I think they ended up losing on the same wave I DC'd).

    I think it would be great if the game were to reserve your spot for 2-3 minutes after you disconnect, giving you enough time to rejoin without having to worry about someone else taking your spot. Even better if the disconnected lobby were right at the top of the lobby browser in gold text.

    The future of the Gears of War franchise.

    If you are completely happy and satisfied with how the franchise is right now, do not read this.

    This franchise is falling. This was a blockbuster franchise at one time and it's been not described as that anymore. After Gears Judgement everything just went downhill. Gears 4 and 5 are good games, but they lack a lot things what made Gears so great. It had a dark and gloomy theme, characters filled with personality which made Gears so cool and memorable. When people think of Gears nowadays.... they think of Gears of War 1 - 3.

    Gears of War 3 is the pinnacle of the series because Epic pushed this game to be best, as it had more characters, more enemy variety, fun game modes, simple unlockable system and an amazing campaign. They just wanted everyone to be happy.

    Now TC is following the bandwagon and putting in things that make money in other AAA games instead of making fans happy.

    We got lootboxes in Gears 4 and most people hated it. Now we got a Fortnite style store with emotes. Who asked for emotes? The store sells overpriced skins and executions that should've been unlockables in the game. Just look at how many different skins that are in the store compared to the ones you can unlock. It just makes Gears 5 look like another AAA game that just wants your money. The Totem system wants you to grind for 10 hours for a single character, making you feel miserable and lean towards buying the character.

    TC is very talented, but they make really funky decisions.

    Make Gears great again.

    Finished my TOD today here's my feedback regarding future tours

    1- New challenges would be nice.

    2- Some of the challenges already in the game could use some updating.

    3- More quality content less filler. (I understand battlepasses need filler to make it up to a hundred but in this tour the only character skin I honestly had any interest in was scared JD, I liked one or two executions were cool and the max tour weapon skin set is nice.)

    4- If you could just make the next future tours less grindy for stars it would be nice.

    5- Have at least 1 extra star boost events on Saturdays for those who don't currently have / use boost. (I get that boost giving double stars on Saturday is one of main attractions to the whole system, it is a pretty cool idea it gave me a reason to come on Saturday to get a few extra stars, So I'd say to keep players coming back on Saturdays if they don't have boost, give them at least one extra star per challenge while keeping the double stars bonus to the people to buy boost.)

    6- 👏 More 👏 earnable 👏 iron 👏 please 👏

    I've been grinding LITERALLY for 24 hours on Insane and Inconceivable difficulty in order to get Kait's level 5 lanceration blood resonance custom gnasher overkill stock and overkill ammo capacity and I've only ever received 2 rare cards(being lanceration) and the rest being commons. VERY annoyed.

    Why haven't they remade some classic Gears of War 2 maps for multiplayer?

    I know a lot of people are sick of remade maps but I feel its because they remake the same maps like Gridlock, Fuel Depot, Canals or even Lift and Harbor. I know Gears of War 2 has had some made maps like Avalanche, Jacinto, Blood Drive, Security(can't believe they remade this trash map imo).

    Gear of War 2 game play wise was my least favorite Gears game, but the game had a lot of great multiplayer maps. Most of which have never been remade. I don't really understand why, do people just hate Gears of War 2 multiplayer maps?

    Here is just a list of maps I think should be remade eventually from Gears of War 2. I also think you could tweak them theme wise to fit the story of Gears 5, because we do back track a little through past Gears of War 2 areas in the story.

    All Fathers Garden(maybe updated with statues of Hoffman), Hail, River(could be winter themed this time around), Ruins(no imulsion but maybe became flooded), Pavilion, Grindyard, Memorial, Way Station.

    Who do you guys think died canonically? I personally saved JD, because i really enjoy the new scarred JD.

    But i'm fairly certain that Del will be the one that survives canonically. Him and kait's relationship was just better.
