    Seeing a lot of people on here essentially telling people to buck up, stop complaining, and to play the damn game; just remember:

    Listen: I get it - coming to this subreddit and reading people's complaints about optional cosmetics is tedious. Doesn't affect gameplay, no biggie!

    I get it, people complaining about the pricing of the items can be silly. Don't like it, don't buy it! Easy peasy!

    But there's STILL people who can't meaningfully play the game! Go to Twitter, there's still tons of players outside the U.S. who can't find matches, or connect to matches adequately because of the Ping.

    There's people (myself included) who's campaign progress isn't being tracked or corrected.

    There's players who's medals aren't awarding stars,or the medals aren't tracking, or they're not collecting exp where it should, or horde/escape progress isn't tracking.

    There's glitches in matchmaking where people were duplicating weapons.

    There's matches where people are spawning on incorrect teams, which while hysterical, is bonkers and fucks up the match. (Kait spawning as Friendly Swarm, Imago spawning as Friendly COG)

    Pepsi/tin man is STILL popping up, in some cases, more frequently. Alternatively, players are spawning in where they can't pull their

    The ranking system, for those players who are very much invested in it, is completely bonkers. We see evidence of it every day.

    Then you have functions that work as intended, people are frustrated by the character limitation in Horde, they're tired of the grind through the ToD and for each new character.

    I get it, the majority of players in the States (myself included) can find a match, no problem, the gameplay. But these issues are really pulling the community in different directions.

    Players, the community are tired of running into all of these issues, yet the cosmetic store seems to be to be running the most smoothly, updating in a timely manner, and functioning for most players.

    They're tired of hearing "We hear you, were listening, we're discussing it" , and the issues and requests never take effect. (IE, specific characters, pricing, quality of life changes to game modes)

    I spent 80 bucks on this thing; but I feel like I got a product that just wasn't completely finished.

    By all means, complain about the memes. It's overkill, half of them suck, a third of them don't apply to most of the community. But it all.comes from the same place:

    People just want to play the game. They want it to be good and they want it to work. Don't shoot them down and tell em' to walk away, or leave, or how well it's working for you, specifically.

    Best of luck to everyone, regardless of your stance, favorite game, or current issue. I'm hopping back on as we speak, because, in spite of everything, it is fun.

    Every double star weekend there's always something going wrong with this game. Double stars don't work and now the servers aren't working. This game is just slowly dying and it sucks.

    Playing KOTH for totem challenges and double stars, for which I got a boost. Servers go down, I chill on YouTube for 30 minutes. Servers back up, hop back in a game. Boom, servers go down again, back to YouTube. Now the servers are up and I'm banned for over 24 for hours??? What the fuck is wrong with you TC. You have one job and now you've lost a player. I'll be sure to tell my friends not to bother with Gears 5.

    I don't think TC will ever change the T characters.

    Reason being is that studios make contracts with their IP and I don't think TC can do a god dam thing.

    The easiest fix is just bar them from ranked, but people paid money for them so they cant do that.

    The next easiest fix would be to add lights, or change the color. They probably aren't allowed to change the design at all under contract.

    There's a reason they haven't talked about it at all even though everyone agrees its a problem, its because they know they cant do shit about it without pissing people who spent money off.
